My Creative Time - Tags!

 I'm busting at the seams with pride and joy for this tag!

I used the Small Loopy Tag dies to create this tag, but it could also be used

on the front of a gift bag or card.

Besides being CUTE, it was so easy!

I Love Fall (sentiment)

Before adhering the leaves I inked around the edges with Distress Ink (Tea Dye)

and if you look closely you will see a bit of sparkle on the edges of

the leaves that I added with Stickles.

SPOOKY Halloween Coffee Gift Card with My Creative Time

 I had so much fun creating this haunting & spooky

coffee gift card holder.  Literally it took less than 20 minutes to put this

together and it is so cute!

I did make this die into a full card.  See below

By simply aligning the top of the card with a FOLDED piece of paper, make sure

the cut line of the die is just above the fold. When it comes out of the die cut machine you 

will have a top folding card.

This will fit into an A2 size envelope so it's not a tiny little card.

Using the Ginger Halloween paper on top of Kraft colored cardstock just

screams FALL.  I did use Tea Dye Distress ink to ink the edges of ALL the

papers.  I was beyond excited to use the Spooky Tag Dies as I just love

them all!  The two bats came from this set as well as the coffin.

Once I pulled out Happy Haunting and found the sentiment "Coffin Break", I was over

the moon!  How perfect for this themed coffee gift!

The mix of fonts on one sentiment is amazing and truly sets your projects

apart from all the rest.  The ease of mixing and matching throughout her entire

Tuesday Tags with My Creative Time!

 I often speak of the versatility of Emma's products and today 

I took a tag die and turned it into a pumpkin box filled with Halloween treats.

Emma makes it easy with her mix and match stamps & dies.

This was such an easy project to put together!

If you have "special" trick or treaters that like to give something extra

to, these would reproduce very easily.

Products used:

Fall Leaf Die

Create a Treat Bag Die

Candy Corn 6x6 Paper Pad

I added some Stickles to the tips of the leaves as well as some shading

with Distress Ink.  I actually distressed the pumpkin edges as well to make it

a more two toned color.  For the final touch I added a small bow at the stamp 

of the leaves.  I love it!

137 Release for MCT!

 Welcome back crafty friends!

First off, let me share quickly where I've been for the majority of the summer.  My husband who turns 91 today, had two falls in mid May and consequently landed in the hospital to recuperate as he also had a horrible case of the shingles.  He spent several days in the hospital and then a rehab facility and is now home with me who is his primary caregiver.  I'm a nurse and should be able to handle this, but it's been a challenge and I needed to lighten my load of responsibilities which included my time on Emma's Design Team.  I emailed Emma and shared that I felt I was ready to return to my projects and she has graciously welcomed me back. I'm so excited to share a couple of projects for this Blog Hop!

One of the reason I chose MCT products years ago when Emma started her business, was that they all seemed to work together seamlessly.  I never felt that if I ordered a release that I wouldn't be able to go back to my existing products and use them as well to create.  Today you will see me reach back in time and show you the versatility of MCT products!

While I was away Emma switched to the 6 x 8.5 paper pads!  I LOVE THEM!

Die cutting is so much easier!

So here is where I go back and use some of past MCT products with today's release.

Let't talk Etched Edge Z Card!  Isn't this lovely???  The new December 25th Die fits perfectly on the front of this card.  I'm able to use the traditional red/green colors of Christmas to make this project pop.

The large Bow on the front comes from Giant Girl Ginger & Accessories.

But when you open it up, you find that I have added the insert from our new 

Cute Card Pocket Sentiments & Dies.

It's the perfect fit to add in a gift card and you can still decorate.  Love

the little Coffee Cup from the Giant Girl Accessory set.

The sentiment comes from Merry Mail and I still have room to write a little.

Love this card!

Now on to my 2nd project for the Hop.  I'm a huge fan of last years Fun Christmas paper pad

and once again you will find the colors and styles blend beautifully into what Emma

is offering us today~

I used the You've Got Mail Die set but I left off the lid.

It's the perfect holder for gift tags and since the 2022 paper pad had gift tags in it, all

I had to do was use the Scallop Tag Dies and the Wavy & Regular Tag Dies to create the

quickest 9 gift tags ever!  I add my colored seam binding at the top for a bit of color.

What a beautiful gift to that special person who has everything! Everyone gets down to crunch time and needs gift tags and these take cuteness to a whole new level!

 To top off the box I used some beads from

my stash and the Christmas Charms set for the snowflake.

As I worked all week cutting out these cute bees, I just knew I needed to use them.

Talk about adorable!  I absolutely love them.

I cut out the 2 layer wings using vellum and then again put some Stickles on the smaller wings to make them stand out. I'm not sure how well the camera picked it up but in person it is so cute.

134 Edition MCT - Day 4!

 We are in the home stretch and I just love today's new die set.

What screams summer more than a tall mason full of lemonade???

This die (complete with it's own ice cubes) gives you all kinds of options for your

favorite beverage.  But wait, this isn't a tag - it's a card!!!

By lining up the Tall Tag Frame on the fold, you can create a

gorgeous card on the back of this "tag".  It all fits in an A2 size

envelope and you are good to go.

Day 3 - 134th Edition MCT

 Today's sneak is a set (in my opinion) let's us appreciate summer with all it's glory!  What is cuter than a JAR?  You know the kind you can in, or make preserves or catch bugs?  I mean jars just scream summertime!  Today I use what I think is the jelly jar and used it for a flower vase.

I used the existing Daisy Dies as I needed a smaller flower.

The jar was cut out of vellum and I used my stickler to trace the outside of the jar to you could see it.

The Eyelet Doily Die was cut in 1/2 so I could ground the jar and make it look like

it was on a table.

Our two new sets featured today are the Jar Label Stamps & Dies & Chunky Jar Dies.

I can't wait to see what my DT sisters have created!

MCT 134th Release Day 2

 After yesterday's projects, I'm sure you are wanting more!

The new Bees & Butterflies Paper pad is truly the star of today's card.

I love me a woodgrain panel and what's better than any woodgrain is a PINK one!

The simple style of this card makes it an easy one to mass produce but it still packs

a WOW feature with the layered Butterfly from the new

Butterfly Stamps & Die Set.

The Eyelet Doily Die set is one of my favorites and I think I used it 2x this week.

My Creative Time Sneaky Peek Week for 134th Edition! Day 1

 We have such an exciting week for you!

Signs of summer are sprinkled through this release and you will feel you just have to sit in the sun and soak up some Vitamin D after seeing all the great creations!  Today I used two new sets:

Just BEE-Cause Stamps & Dies & Big Daisy Die

To start the week off, I created a "pocket card".  This is an easy fold to do and creates

a lot of interest when you open it up.

The little white note card with the sentiment can be pulled out of it's "pocket"

so you can easily write your note.  Adding a final touch is that 

adorable tiny BEE.  I mean isn't he the cutest!

I used a circle die from my stash (either the 3inch circle dies or the 4 inch)

to create the spot on the front for the adorable larger daisy die!

Simple! Cute! So MCT!

My Creative Time is celebrating 13 years! Day 1 of our new release!

 The number 13 is a very lucky number for so many crafters!

 Emma started her business 13 years ago and we are all such better

My Creative Time Just Cards! - 4x4 Fancy Card Die

 The timing was perfect for me today since I needed a special

Happy Birthday card for today's post.  I have used this die so often and I love it, but today

I also made the envelope and used several other MCT products including items from my

stash.  What is my stash???  LOL!  Well you know as a crafter we buy things

that we have no idea what we are going to use them for, bring them home and STASH them,

then one glorious day you find you NEED them!

My Creative Time - Gift Cards!

 If I ever needed justification for 

purchasing MCT products through the years, today was it!

This is my first post in almost a month.  I've been recuperating from surgery so that means I missed the entire release last week.  Didn't the Design Team do a great job?

I've been itching to use some of those new products so I had to start with the Springtime Paper Pad.  Such a great compliment to the dies that Emma introduced but you know the mark of a good product is how it relates to the past! 

I thought it was fitting to create something as a Get Well gift and having the tags in the new paper pad allowed me to cut this one free hand and back it in white using the Scallop Tag Dies.  Then for my Gift Card I used the Stitched Card Holder Die.  One cut and it's done!  How fast is that???

I added the tiny clothes pin to hold on the tag, topped it with a string bow and I'm done!

Make sure you have these dies in your craft space.  They make creating so easy but so good!

MCT 131st Release - Day 4

 Emma wraps up this week

with a beautiful cover plate die and daisy set.

What's not to love!  The delicate flower cutout on the die is perfection.

I just had to use that deep yellow from the paper pad so it would show through the cut outs.

Then the daisy flowers!  Oh my!  So much you could do with this

set but I kept envisioning a cluster of daisies on a white background.

The vines from the Foliage Die set are perfect for adding a pop of green.

I have used this die for many things and it even looks amazing in white!  Make sure

you add this set to your collection because you will use it over and over again.

Look at the delicate stamped cut out sentiment!  Just lovely!

MCT Day 3 - 131st Release

  Tea has certainly gained popularity over the past 

few years and I'm delighted that Emma is celebrating with this Tea inspired release.

Something else that goes with tea are doilies.  Again it's a Victorian touch

and adds so much elegance to any tea gift or favor.

Look how adorable this little packet of tea is!  What an adorable favor or small

gift!  I have a best-tea who will love this.

I layered all three of our new Eyelet Doily Dies on top of each other

and then used another tea cup cut out to finish off the gift.

The script or font Emma used this release is so delicate!  You are going to love it.
