MCT Anything Goes!

I love a good "anything goes" challenge!

I have the cutest little 3D project to show you using some of my favorite My Creative Time products.  Have you ever been wandering in a craft store and picked up an item without having any idea how you will use it?  I can't tell you how many of those items have JUMPED into my cart and then I just put them away when I get home and wait for the inspiration.  Well I have a cute one for you today!

This little metal box was the perfect finishing touch for these cute little band-aids.

Look how cute this little band-aid box is - Adorable!

MCT products used:

I used washi tape to decorate the outside and inside of the tin.

This is the smaller of the two band-aid dies.
The back of all band-aids are blank so you can write a special note on them.

This stamp set is perfect when you just want to let someone know you believe in them and they have the strength to fight.  It's different and unique and sure to bring a smile to anyone!

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

Happy Release Day My Creative Time 121st Edition!

 Well, it's finally here!

Everything should be live on Emma's site so just follow the link if you have not shopped yet.

This is a great release and if you add on the paper pack you will be able to create the minute it arrives!

Today I am featuring the Coffee Break Paper Pad, Let's Have Coffee & Let's Venti!

It's been so long since I've created a shaker card I just couldn't resist!

In addition to this release, I added few items from Emma's designs to make the process easier:

Pretty Scallop Circle Dies

4 Inch Circle Card Die

3 Inch Circle Card Die

I used a combination of dies between the 3 inch and 4 inch to get my "window" for my shaker elements.  By cutting 5-6 circles with these two dies, I do not need to use foam to layer up the card.  Just glue together the circles, add your gems, you acetate and the Pretty Scallop Circle and you are done!

I could easily send to a mail or female with this paper choice!

I hope you had fun this week.  I know I did!  Here's a reminder of my posts from the week!

Day 4 - Final Day of Sneaky peeks for My Creative Time's 121st Release!

 Whew!  What a great week!

I was fueled by coffee each day AND the inspiration from my Design Team Sisters!

Emma never lets us down!  She knows that time is precious to all of us and when she designs products that cut down on time to create, it's a win win for us all!

Today we are sneaking her new Stitched Gift Card Holder Die

I love this simple design especially when you have a lot of gift cards to give out like at Christmas!  This is one cut and you are done.  I went ahead and added in a layer from the small Loopy Frame Die and then added a die from the Label Die Set.  This is another set you WANT to have in your hands!
You will always have a great shadow for any sentiment you want to add!

I love the clean and simple lines on the back as well as the stitching!  It has been so much fun and EASY having Emma's new paper pad to go with this release!   She has totally made it "goof proof" if you need a female or male card/gift card.  This paper pad is a GREAT addition and one you will want in your stash!

Well - that's a wrap!  Now to wait until tomorrow for the release to go live!!!!

Day 3 - My Creative Time's 121st Release sneaky peeks!

I love layers on my cards, tags and well, I guess any project!

My friends all know if they get a card from me, it will have a lot of dimension.

Today I made a layered GIFT card tag using a new set of frames.

Emma is known for her unique dies and these sets will not dissapoint!

Once again I used a couple of the images from earlier in the week, but when you flip it over...

you can see that a gift card is attached on the back!

Another "staple" die in my studio is the:
These two dies can make ANY card a gift card!
Love it!

Now I can attach this tag to a little gift bag that contains a special coffee mug.
Love it!

Day 2 - My Creative Time 121st Release!

No doubt after seeing the ideas from the design team, you have come to

realize this will be a great week!

I loved the sneaks so much from today, I had to make two cards!

First off a clean and simple:

This card features an image from yesterday's peaks, but I had to use the adorable stencil ( which is the freebie to the first 25 shoppers on Friday) to make the coffee stain and steam!
OMG!  I love it and you will also!
May be an illustration of dessert and text

For my second card I got to dust off my Copic  markers!

This coffee leaf image is stunning even without color, but I just did a little shading (after I googled
what a coffee leaf was supposed to look like :))

The sentiments are from the sets we featured on Monday so you can see how beautifully
they stamp and die cut!

I know the rest of the team will knock your socks off!

Day 1 - My Creative Time's 121 Release!

Such a glorious day here in Indiana!  I hope wherever you live you are enjoying the sunshine

and warm air of summer!  Emma has completely outdone herself again with this release!

I was so excited when it came, I created everything in an afternoon!

You are going to love it!

Today  we are featuring two new stamp sets and a new paper pad that will be

available on Friday June 24, 2022.  If you love coffee, you are going to want it ALL!

The majority of my card is using the new release but I did use

a die from the 4 inch Circle Card Die set.

This die set rarely gets put away in my studio as I'm always using those circles!

I am so in love with the sentiment strips.  First off, they all have dies for them, but secondly
mixing of two fonts is my all time favorite trick that Emma does!
Love this multi layered card and I can't wait to send it off.

My Creative Time Gift Card Post

So many things in life are different one of those being

people are very hard to buy a gift for it seems!  I'm so glad the Gift Card is a

popular choice and My Creative Time products make it easy to make your

gift card a personal gift.  Today I'm highlighting Mermaid Kisses Stamp & Die Set and

the Mermaid Background Die.

Other MCT products used:
I used the tiny Happy Birthday stamped on the gift card holder.
This set has TONS of Happy Birthday sentiments that will surely fit any need.
The helper dies will become your best friend if you like to give gift cards
because they add the perfect little "helper holders" on any card!

Of course I had to add some sparkle with the flat sided gems.
Look how easy it is to turn almost anything into a card holder!

Let your imagination run wild!  It's the year of the Gift Card!

My Creative Time - Just Cards!

You know this is my favorite thing to create!

I love making cards!  Lately I've been challenging myself to do

"less is more" cards.  My mother always had a way of saying less is more

when she was trying to get me to focus on the BIG picture.

So, with her voice in the back of my head I created a "less is more" card

or what we know in the card world as a "clean and simple" card.

I love using stencils and this mandala stencil that is stunning.
I used Oxide Inks to blend on the front of my card but not covering the entire layer.
What you cannot see in the photo is that I "spritzed" my card with a
glittery spray to add another dimension.

MCT products used:
3" Donut Dies (cut out the word Sweet 5 times)
Mandala Stencil from my stash
Blue gems - from my stash
Numbers 1 & 6 from a Retired MCT set

I think my momma would be pleased!
