THROWBACK THURSDAY with Timeless Twine & Bella Creationz

Hello!  This is Cathy from Mimis Craft Corner and
I am very excited to share with
you today a card I created using

For Throwback Thursday, we ask that
you go back to your PAST craft projects and
remake them today with a few twists and turns.

Here is my Throwback from 2012

I LOVE black and white cards, but I also love this
layout.  It's a combination of patterned paper and
an insert at the bottom that I ran through
the Cuttlebug.  The two papers are separated
by a piece of ribbon.  I love this format and could
make this card over and over and it will never be the
same.  Here's my updated card for today:

I added paper from the First Edition Spring Drop paper pad.
I also used my all time fav punch of Martha Stewart to
separate the two layers.

I added some sequins and

The sequins are coming soon to

Keep in mind the Sorbet Collection is
on SALE all month!

Have a wonderful Spring day!

Butterfly card for Cardztv Challenge!

I love butterflies and use
them frequently on summer cards.
How fun when I realized that Cardztv had a
Designer Challenge just for that!

In looking through my card stash, I didn't
have any sympathy cards and really
needed one to send this week.

I used an embossing folder and
chalked the images with a finger dauber and
a Q tip.  I added three butterflies using
a Stampin Up little embossing folder.

My sentiment comes from HEARTFELT WISHES
a stamp set from Cardztv.  I reach for this stamp set
over and over to send encouraging cards!
It's really a must have for all card makers!

Thanks for stopping by and why not get
creative today and make your own butterfly card!

To Die for Wednesday!

Hello!  This is Cathy from
Mimi's Craft Corner and today
is To Die for Wednesday!

For anyone who truly wants to be creative and NOT
depend on a Cricut or Silhouette, die cutting
is for you!  I use a Cuttlebug but the
Big Shot is on my Wish List.  I reach
for my dies over and over again.  LOVE THEM!

It was treat day at my office
and I put these together for my docs!
I made the tags using my Silhouette.
I printed my sentiment first and then
cut them out with the software.

The little "box" the candy sets in
is a die that I use over and over!  It comes
from My Creative Time and it's called
the treat slider.

Here is another variation using the same
box but the tags are cut using metal dies that
I ran through my Cuttlebug.

The Hershey Nuggets are covered
with 1x3 inch patterned paper strips.

I added a plastic bag with the final
 to tie the tag on.

This is such a fun project and is always
appreciated at my office.  With 12 providers
I need to be creative when I want to give them
something.  It always amazes me how
a little paper, stamps, Timeless Twine and
CHOCOLATE make such an
awesome gift.

Have a great day!

Cathy
