It's Sequin/Shaker Saturday!

Hello!  This is Cathy from
I'm part of the Creative Crew for

I almost get giddy when I
see I am scheduled for
Sequin Shaker  Saturday

I love making shaker cards!  I made
this one use a die with my Cuttlebug
machine, but if you have a Silhouette
or Cricut, you can do the same thing.

I used the Sparkly Clear Sequins and
mixed in a few Martha Stewart little stars.

The background is my second attempt at
water coloring.  I still have more work to do
but it's fun trying!

I hope you try your hand
at making a shaker card soon!

They are so much fun!

Plan Nerd Sunday!

Hello, this is Cathy from
Mimi's Craft Corner and it's my
turn to share ideas for

My confession on this Sunday is
that I don't always stamp in my
planner weekly!
I know - SHOCK!

What I do is have these little
post it notes ready when I don't have time!
I've shared these before, but wanted to
give you some ideas on how to use them.

I keep a pad of these notes with me at all time
and when I think of something that is needed on my list
I just write it out and add it to
my ECLP.

For the weekends, my To Do are
usually of a shopping nature and
it's time for that Honey Do List!
The stamps came from Plan Nerd Stamp Set

Let's not forget all those times your
heart aches for someone and what they
are going through.  You want to add them
to your prayer list, but are afraid you will
forget before you get home.  I have a
pad of these ready also!

I can't tell you how many times these
little guys have saved me!

Now before I leave you today, I wanted to give you a
quick idea for all of you insta photo gals.

I found these on clearance at Hobby Lobby.
Perfect size for 3x3 notes ( my absolute all
time fav size note to create!! ) but look how much fun they
are with photos.

It's an instant background of color, in
the perfect size!  These will fit lovely in your
ECLP or your Midori Travel Planner.

Create beautiful photo displays in seconds
and add that special touch with
Bella Creationz Stamp set

Happy Sunday!

Ink Splatters!

It seems like watercoloring
is all the rage right now in card making.
I am just learning and it's fun but today
I make a quick anniversary card using a
new stamp set I purchased from

I have many products from Emma
and I love each and every one.

This was an easy, fun card to make and
it really looks like I used my paint brush.

To finish it off, I used some Timeless Twine

Thanks for stopping today!

Birthday Box

I am a huge fan of
Jennifer McGuire.  Jennifer
is a crafter beyond the standards of
normal!  Jennifer qualifies as the one
of the BEST teachers of the art more
than anyone else I've seen.

A few weeks ago, Jennifer showed
on her bog how she was creating
a birthday box. I fell in love with
her idea and decided to

There is NOTHING that is original in
my project!  When I say I stole it
or copied it that sounds better,
I mean it.

Please go to Jennifer's blog
to see details on how to create this
birthday box.  For those crafters who
love to make cards and want a system
of how to remember who you've sent
a card to, this is for you.

Thanks for stopping by!

It's a Fun Friday at Timeless Twine and Bella Creationz~

While I love making Mini Albums and
other time consuming things, what I think is
the MOST fun is making a simple card!

Hi! This is Cathy from the Creative Crew

Simple card making is something that is
more than fun to me, it's relaxing.  I don't
have to think too hard and it seems that everyone
loves the thoughtfulness that goes into a
handmade card.  I also want to share
my love of simple card making with everyone
and I think if my projects are too challenging,
people may give up before they start AND they
think "this is too expensive, I'll just go buy a card"
Whoa! Where is the fun in that?

My card only has two layers on top of the card base.
I did add a layer of foam to pop up the tulips, but other
than that, it's a pretty simple card.  My tulips
are embossed with my Cuttlebug and then I chalked them
for a soft look.  I used a sentiment from the
OH SNAP set from BellaCreationz.
are almost always a given!

I tried to show you the glitz on the tulips!  I used
my Wink of Stella brush to add a little zip!

When you look at this stamp set you probably
think photo albums, mini albums, project life
but I saw OH SNAP and knew it needed
to be on a card.  I hope you
like my FUN card on this FUN FRIDAY!

Thanks for stopping!
