It's a Christmas Tea Invitation

I have a quick post for you showing
you a simple but elegant Christmas Tea
invitation I am sending out tomorrow.

I've blocked out the address, but I think you
can get the idea of how to create.  I used my
computer and printer for the invite part and
then I relied on some glue, sequins, twine, die cuts
and stamps to finish this off.

This was a fun, fun project and I
hope I've inspired you to try your hand
at your own invitations this holiday season.

Here's a quick video.

Thanks for stopping by.  Be sure
and leave me a comment and share
what you would like to see for my videos.

Cardztv 3D Challenge - 3 Small Tags!

First let me begin by saying
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
I hope you all had a wonderful time with
family and friends and that you felt
the abundance of God's blessings.  My
husband and I spent the day with my oldest
son, his wife and two boys.  It was a great day!
I can get used to NOT being the hostess for all these
holidays.  It felt great to go to someone else's home
and share in the chores and cooking.
My DIL Carrie did a wonderful job
on the food and preparations for this
special day.  I'm so lucky - she is AWESOME!

Now onto the newest challenge
from Cardztv!  I love tags and I was
really excited when Mary announced this
was our challenge.    I never used to make
tags, but recently have found that I can create
them and have as much fun as I do
in making cards.

Here are my three tags!  Love them!

I found a shape in the Silhouette store and I
wanted the shape to be curly at the top so
it would look like a hat.

I also used the fill page feature and cut
out an entire sheet of 12x12 paper of these tags.

To finish off the tag, I glued another tag
on the back to hide all of the twine I wrapped
around for the hat.  I like the finished look

I am having a hard time uploading videos so I
took a few pictures as I was creating the tags.
I used painter's tape and masked each tag
from where I wanted to create the colored
hat.  The next two photos show how
I used the new Tim Holtz mini distress inks
to color the hats.  BTW - I love the little
inkers!  I can see myself using these
now instead of the bigger ones.

You also see a "craft mat" that I have my tags
taped on.  This mat makes it so simple
to ink and clean up the mess!

Who doesn't love Peachy Keen Stamps????
I like the bigger sets so I can choose the
size I need based on what I'm creating.
I picked out three different snowman faces
to create my tags.  I then colored the nose with
my Copic markers and used chalk on the
eyes and nose.  I love the dimension.

I used two sets of Cardztv Stamps
SNOW DAY & CHRISTMAS JOY

I love how you can mix Mary's
stamps together!

Here again are the final design.  I had to add
some sequins!  Love the sparkle.

Thanks for stopping by!  Join us in this
challenge for a chance to win a set of
Cardztv Stamps.

Dates: November 28 - December 11

I can't wait to see your creations!

Wishing you Comfort!

Let's face it, sometimes we need
a special card to send.  I needed several
sympathy cards this week and my stash was
empty so I wanted to give you a peak
at a card I made last evening.  I actually
made 5 of them.  Sadly I needed to use them all,
however I'm so glad that I could make something
special.

I used Stampin Up Cardstock for the base
card and designer paper for some color.
I then pulled out my stash of My Creative Time's
dies and stamp sets.  I LOVE the leaf dies and they
are perfect this time of year.  I used Tim Holtz
Distress inks on the leaves to change up the color.
I don't know the name of the Martha Stewart punch
but it's my favorite.

Just a hint!  When mailing a card like this with
some thickness due to the button, dies or even sequins,
use another piece of card stock over the front of the
card to keep it from destroying the envelope.
Just add a little extra postage so your special
creation doesn't get ruined.

I have another quick cute video but I'm having
issues with getting it up on Youtube.  Stay tuned!

Thanks for stopping by!

Cardztv "Just for You" 3D Challenge

Welcome to my blog today.  I'm
very excited to show you what I made
for the Cardztv JUST FOR YOU 3D Challenge.
I even made a quick video to go
along with my project.

As you will see in the video, I used a die
cut for the tag and layer, dies for the snowflake, sequins
and I used Tim Holtz Distress ink to create
the blue tag.

Here's the back of the tag with a
pocket for a gift card!  Love it!
The finishing touch is a stamp from
VERY MERRY stamp set.

Okay, now it's your turn to create!
Join the 3D Cardztv Design Team and make
your own gift card holder, post on Mary's
website for a chance to win a set
of Mary's stamps.

Contest dates:
November 14 - November 26

Thanks for stopping by for a visit.
Leave me a message with a link to your

More fun with my Erin Condren Life Planner

I've been using my Erin Condren Life Planner
since July 2014.  I had a hectic summer with
an unexpected move from our home of
30 years and my planner helped me keep
up on the constant changing schedule.

This is my second video on my EC planner, but
I made some changes and wanted to share.

I share some of my favorite stamp sets specifically
for planner nerds like me!  Enjoy!

Thanks for stopping by!

Come back on Friday for the newest Cardztv 3D challenge!
 See you soon!

I've been wanting to share my new
craft space with you all and even
though it's not complete, I think you
will get the idea!

I put this video on Youtube, but wanted
to link it here as well.

As I continue to work more and get my
cabinets in, I will share again.
