My Creative Time 118th Release Day!

Another whirlwind week just flew by!

I hope you had as much fun as the Design Team did

because we had a ball!

For our blog hop today, I am featuring the

Painting Bunnies & Happy Easter Dies!

Taking a different spin on what you can create,

I designed an adorable small votive

candle with a battery operated light.

What a great little project!

I stamped on vellum and colored on the back side

before attaching to the frosted votive.  I used glue

dots to adhere and they hardly show up at all!

The twine is from my stash and adds a little color

to pull the project together.

My Creative Time Sneaky Peak 2 - 118th Edition

 Wasn't yesterday the best????

We have another fun day today

featuring a new Fancy Topper Die!

SOOOO MANY ideas to be made

with this adorable die.

This die will make quick work out of creating little
treats or favors for your favorite people.

The die is created to cover a 3 inch opening but I used a larger
bag here and folded it in before I stapled the topper on!
Having the layering piece means you can cover your
staples easily!

PS - so sorry for the way my bunny decided to lay in the bag.
He and I had a power struggle and he won, LOL!
Every time I moved him, I'd flip over the bag and he
settled to the one side again!

What FUN I've had preparing some

projects to feature the 118th Edition of

My Creative Time!  Today we are sneaking

Painting Bunnies & Happy Easter Dies

I created a slimline card featuring

My Creative Time Gift Card Giving

Just one of the reasons I have loved using

MCT products, is that you can create something quickly

and it will look fantastic.

Today I made a gift card holder out of the cutest

coffee die yet!  I love how quickly it came together and

how it looks like I spent hours creating it.

Products used:

Coffee Gift Card Die

I used some twine from my stash and a
Martha Stewart punch to add the white branch.  I used my
white gel pen to "stitch" along the outside.
I love hearts so much I could add them to everything.
There you have it!  An adorable gift card holder!

My Creative Time Tag your It!

Tags to me are just another

way to make a card!  Most of them fit in an A2 size

envelope and you can write on the back side of the tag.

Today's tag is one I plan to send to another

girlfriend.  Especially during this "season" of Covid I've

relied on my gal pals a lot.  We may not see each other or

go out to lunch, but we talk, text and stay in touch somehow.

Friends are so important, aren't they??

Thank you for stopping by and taking a look
at my project!  Have you sent your "galentines" a card yet?

Stamping Up New Horizons Designer Paper - Beautiful and Easy Cards

I took a break away from making my 2022 Christmas cards to

create some "all occasion" cards that I needed for my card

ministry.  Prior to Covid, I made 3x3 cards and gave them to after our

church service to people who I thought needed a pick me up, or additional prayers.

I also used them as thank you cards.  During Covid, we have gone

to virtual services online and that is how I choose at this time to

worship.  I mail on average 5-10 cards a week to our members, especially those

who are house bound or in nursing homes.  I go through

a lot of cards and sometimes it's hard to keep up!

Today I used the SU New Horizon's 6x6 paper pack to create

a lovely and easy card.  I cut the entire pack into

3x3 squares, mounted the sheets on 3 1/8 x 3 1/8 black cardstock

and placed it on an A2 size card.

My sentiments sets are from Gina K Designs.  The floral

silhouette is also from a Gina K set.

I used my dies to cut a variety of "greenery" except

I did it in white.

Here are a couple of pics!

Only 6 more weeks of winter!

MCT Anything Goes!

With Valentine's Day just around the corner

I thought we could all use another treat idea!

Hershey Nuggets are my fav candy to give along with

Ghirardelli squares, M&M's, Chocolate Kisses or

peanut butter cups.  Gosh it looks like anything chocolate is my

fav!  LOL!  Anyone else?

I pictured these in my mind, but I have to admit, they came out
much cuter than I thought.  The large one will hold two
wrapped nuggets while the baby will hold one.

MCT Products used:

Using the Scallop Heart Tag dies to create this was fun.
Just cut out two.  Measure your candy on the bottom so you
know where to score.  Score both pieces and glue together.
Cute, Cute, Cute!

Make it Manly! My Creative Time

I'm not sure about you but

masculine cards are sometimes a challenge for me.

If I get REAL, I honestly believe I overthink the entire process.

For my card today, I layered a white card front onto an A2

size base.  I kept the colors to a minimum and I didn't

add any gems!  I know!  It's a shock to the system.

However I did use my favorite bottle of Nuevo drops to add

just a little black.

Products used:

Sending Love Sentiments

Wonky Heart Dies

Circle Card Add-on dies

Definitely easy to duplicate without being so girly!
