Day 4 My Creative Time 120th Edition Sneaks!

My most favorite die of the week!  I am obsessed with this new die and I think you will be too!

Look at our new PURSE DIE!

I cut it 2x to make into a gift card holder!

That plaid was too cute to not finish off the project on the back!

To begin with, when Emma showed us this die, my mind immediately went to those little clear purses that everyone is carrying now especially for "stadium concerts".  I knew I wanted to cut this out of clear acetate and use black as the contrasting colors.  When I went to pick out a coordinating paper, this plaid just screamed "pick me, pick me!"

Now I love Brighton jewelry!  I mean I love it.  I've always gravitated toward the cooler metal colors and since I have my fair share of Brighton accessories, I needed a Brighton gift card.
If you know Brighton you know they have hearts on almost everything!  It is sort of their signature, so I just had to create a purse charm and add a heart!  (I borrowed the heart from my planner, LOL)
I used a mini bow and the Fancy Frame Dies from yesterday to create a sentiment on the front!

Of course this die can be used flat on a card front, but if you cut two, you can sneak in a gift card easily.

Day 3 My Creative Time 120th Edition Sneaks!

Can you believe we are midway through the week?????

Today we are featuring our FREEBIE Die as well as two new sets of A2 Size Fancy Frame Dies!

So much you can do with the fancy frame - get ready for overload on my upcoming projects - I will be using them on everything!

Today I made an easel card so the MOM die would stand out and the sentiment would pop using the frame and layering dies.

When a momma gets this card, she can keep it on display!  I love an easel card and it's so simple to make.
Cut your card base 4 1/4 x 8 1/2.  SCORE at 4 1/4 & 6 3/8.  Use the video to see how to fold the card.
You will need another 4 1/4 inch square base to form the top of the card.  Make sure you decorate the bottom portion of the card so you have a "bumper" to keep the card standing up.

Love it!

Day 2 Sneaks - 120th Edition from My Creative Time

Emma has thought of it all!  Along with Graduation we have Mother's Day too!

Get in the swing of things with our new Mother's Day Set!  SWOON worthy!

I love ink blending and this card gave me a chance to play!  I used inch wide washi or painter tape to make clean lines on my card base and then pulled out some pastel pretties that would blend together
nicely.  I love how it turned out.  Then I took the floral image from the set, stamped with Black Versa Ink, and dusted with clear embossing powder and heat set.  CRAFTERS TIP: by using CLEAR embossing powder and black ink I don't have those pesky black dots that can come with black powder.
I find that I emboss more because my project looks more polished.
I also embossed the sentiment to make it more elevated.  I stamped one floral image on scrap paper (of course embossed it as well and used the dies to cut it out perfectly) and used the same inks to watercolor the petals by using a water pen.  I don't think it shows in the photo, but I added some Wink of Stella on the petals of the lone flower I die cut.

Cute card and so simple!

MCT Just Cards!

I'm so excited to share a new baby card with you.

While I admit I don't need as many baby cards as I used to, it's always a blessed event when I get to make one and give.  Always reaching for my FAVORITE stamps and dies - My Creative Time to the rescue!

What fun to color this little elephant with my Copic markers.  I make no claims of being a great artist but ever since I found Copic markers, they seem to be my choice for coloring.  Love this little guy!

MCT Gift Card Giving!

Good morning!  Spring has finally sprung here in Indiana and I have a cute gift card holder for you featuring My Creative Time products.  I just love Emma's Cute Card Dies.  This set cuts out the card and then you have additional layers to use to create your card front.

Since I wanted to stay with an Easter theme I added the Bunny Lollipop Holder to the front of my card by basically cutting just the front of the holder.  On the inside of my card I added the gift card pocket from the Gift Card Tag Die Set.

I love how this came together!  Make sure and head over

to MCT to shop for your favorite items!

Happy Easter!

Thankful!

Today I am thankful that I can move!

I took a nasty fall on Friday evening.  I mean seriously this is stupid stuff.  The toe of my shoe got caught in the opposite pant leg while I was going up cement stairs.  OUCH!  I landed hard on my knee that I had replaced 6 years ago and then on my left wrist.  I knew I was falling but I could not get that darn shoe out of the pant leg, so I braced myself and my wrist has been extremely painful.

NO, I didn't go to the doctor - I'm a nurse (I know that's bad).  I will see how I feel by the end of the week and if I still have swelling and sore spots, I will get an x-ray.  Before the "incident", I was in the process of making Thank you Cards!  I love this design using MCT products.

Hope it gets better soon!  I don't have time for this!
