My Creative Time Newest Release! Worth waiting for!!!!

So many words to describe this week!

Adorable, cute, and TEAriffic are just a few!

Let's hop right into my card for today.

My weather here in Indiana sure doesn't look or feel like spring, but this release has me in a great mood.
Look at the paper!  How adorably cute and springy is the paper.  Of course
you know Emma is going to give us great paper pads with cut outs and dies
so that our crafting time is so easy.  I could not resist cutting out the
teapot and cup and using my Pretty Scallop & Layer die set to
showcase the cutouts.  It's a simple card that packs a punch of
cuteness and is perfect to sent to your bestie!

***SNEAK PEEK GIVEAWAY!***

We will be giving away the sets we are showcasing each day to ONE lucky winner! ALL winners will be announced on Emma’s blog on Friday during the blog hop! ALL you have to do is leave a comment on each of our blogs! Enjoy the week because it's just going to get better and better.

My Creative Time - Anything Goes

I have come to love making tags

with Emma's products.  They are simple but can totally take the place of a card.

Today I made an Easter Treat Bag using several

dies.  I think I shared with you at the last release, I am in love

with "all thing scallop" so this tag fits right in.

Someone once said it's all about the presentation and this tag
proves that.  Chocolate covered pretzels never looked so cute!

To start, I used the Dots, Flowers & Solids Paper pad from our last release!
These small little flowers are so adorable, I think I could use an entire paper pad of just them!
The tag is made by layering the Pretty Scallop Tall Tag Dies & the Tall Tag Frame Die Layers.
They look beautiful together!
Then I used the Ginger Easter Bunnies Stamps & Dies set and used the negative hunny space
on the Flowered paper.  The sentiment comes from the same stamp & die set.
One of our Design Team Members used this negative space on
her project for the last release and I just couldn't get over that bunny butt!!!
I knew instantly what I would be making for today when I saw her project.
I wrapped it all together with some pink seam binding from my stash.

Well there you have it!  Another fun Anything Goes!
Thank you for stopping by - it was fun!

My Creative Time - Tag it Tuesday!

Today's post is with a TWIST!

Emma asked that we use the Peppermint Candy Die on our tag.

As you can see, I tried to make a flower out of the pinwheel portion

and I think it turned out cute!

Having the Pretty Scallop Tall Tag Dies make creating something on a larger scale a piece of cake!

I layered on top the Pretty Scallop Circle & Circle Layer Dies for the base.

Adding in the Foliage Dies is so fun as it can add to any project.  I used the Medium Holiday Bow

at the top for interest and finished off my tag with a

sentiment from Painting Bunnies.

This tag will fit into an A2 size envelope and could be sent just like a card.

Thanks for stopping!

My Creative Time - Make it Manly!

I remember the first time I saw

the Dots, Solids & Stripes paper pad that

goes with LET IT SNOW set.  I knew this paper would also be

my go-to for manly cards.  Today I needed a birthday card for

a male.  I had ordered the Love You Lots stamp & Die set because I love Gnomes!

Today I finally got to use him!

I stamped him and used my Copic markers to color him to coordinate with the paper pad.  With so many colors in this stripe I just knew I could find the perfect combination.

I used a colored cardstock for my base because I think it looks more "manly" - LOL!
I think this Gnome colored up pretty cute all decked out in purple!

I also did a white panel on the inside and stamped another sentiment.
The patterned paper strip at the bottom just gives it a finishing touch.

What a fun card to create!

Just a hint - if you like doing layers - use the Cute Card Dies!  I was looking through my stash and I couldn't believe I've never used these for card layers!  How perfect!

My Creative Time Favor - 'Tis the luck of the Irish!

I hope you have had time to catch your breath

after last week's newest release!  I'm still on a high working with all of the

new products, however St. Patricks Day is almost here!

Have I ever told you how much my hubby loves it

when I make treats for MCT projects?  Well now that I'm retired he is the beneficiary!

When I looked at the new paper pads, my thoughts immediately went to St. Paddy's day.
I think the green just screams IRISH!

I used the Short Milk Treat Box and it's FULL of gold coins!
It holds a lot of treats and would also be perfect for Easter filled with chocolates
or jelly beans!  You could even mount a Ginger Bunny on the outside!
I still love having little treats at my place settings when I entertain, and this little milk
box goes together so easily that it would be great to use!

To construct the box, I creased all lines BEFORE putting the box together
because our new paper line is so sturdy, you will need to work with the box
to get it to fold in the correct places.  The Short Milk Box cuts out perfectly on two 6x6 sheets
of card stock.  I used the Dots, Flowers & Solids paper pad that goes
with the Spring Gingers.  LOVE these little white flowers.
Then I cut the shamrocks from the Mini Lollipop Holder & Add on set and added a sparkly gem!
I used the Small Holiday Bow for the top of the box.
I stamped my sentiment from the Rainbow Sentiments on an oval cut from the Pretty Oval

I hope you enjoy my little treat box all decked out for St. Paddy's Day!

Thank you for stopping by!
