Tag it Tuesday with MCT!

 Emma encouraged us to use a "beauty colors" left to our own thoughts.

As I went through my paper stash, this nautical paper jumped out!

I used the VERY POPULAR Scallop Tag dies & Wavy & regular Tag Dies from Emma's most recent Christmas in July Release.  They will be BACK IN STOCK on August 27th.  If I were you, I'd set an alarm!  This will be your go to tag die from here on and you want this before the holidays.

As you can see in my photo, it layers well with the Tag Frame Die allowing you to use for any occasion.  And let's not forget, you can use this with any of your existing paper pads!

This tag is attached to the Shopping Bag die that is holding a tube of sunscreen for my friend who is heading on vacation.  What a cute way to say "thinking of you today".

My Creative Time Gift Card!

 Gift cards are my go-to gift at Christmas Time, birthdays, graduation etc.

It seems like it's gotten harder and harder to buy for people, especially my grands!

Each Christmas I either give cash or gift cards so they can select their own gift.

Since I don't spend much time picking out a gift, I like to put the extra effort

into making the gift card holder.  My Creative Time to the rescue!

I closed the little envelope with one of my favorite clips I get off Amazon.  Tim Holtz makes them too, but the ones from Amazon are much cheaper.

I used various gems and snowflakes from my stash to add the finishing touches.

Please note - Emma's paper pads are 80# and the perfect paper to use for projects such

as this.  The extra "weight" will add stability to your project and truly give it a polished look.

MCT - Just Cards!

 As I type this blog, I chuckle to myself because cards made with My Creative Time dies and stamps are never JUST CARDS!  It is so easy to quickly make a card for any occasion with these products!

My CRAFTY friend and I have tried to get together several times this summer,

but so far we have not made it.  I thought I would send her this card so she knows

I miss her and our crafty sessions together.

MCT 1st Christmas in July Release!

 If you had 1/2 as much fun as me - you had a great week.

Today, it's all about you and you getting the chance to place your order for these wonderful products.  I know I told you yesterday I have my 2022 cards done, but I couldn't resist making two more with our fun items from this release.  I used a card sketch that I love because this one features a large block of my patterned paper and I just love this paper pad.

Of course I had to use the tag die and the tag sheet from the paper pad for my focal point on this card.  By adding the sentiment that I cut out with the coordinating die, my card is ready to go.  I loved it so much, I made two!

When I look at these cards I just want to smile!  Who wouldn't love getting these during the holidays??

Christmas in July with My Creative Time Day 4 Sneaky Peeks!

 This week has flown by!  I guess it's because we are having so much fun!

Emma always makes the BEST dies for us to use when we need to make a statement.  Our new Pretty Oval Layer and Scallop Oval Dies are just that - they make a statement.

The delicate scallop placed behind the oval layer makes it just pop off the paper.

Here we have our sweet Ginger person again and looks how he/she jumps off the card!

Once again I chose to stamp that adorable sentiment in RED and use the die cut - PERFECTION!

WELL -  tomorrow is the big day!

I must confess - all of my Christmas cards are made and ready to be addressed and sent.

Each year, I try and have all my cards done by the end of February.  By then I'm tired of the mess and ready to move on to spring projects.  When fall comes around and there's a chill in the air, I can take out my holiday cards and begin addressing and writing in them.  I don't feel rushed - I just have a relaxed approach to the season.  I can use my time to make other last minute holiday projects like gift tags, Gift card holders, place cards etc.  Love it!
