My Creative Time Giveaway!

My happy mail arrived this week
from My Creative Time.  Last weekend
Emma GAVE away, first time ever, one of
her awesome dies.  Since my order was
done on two different days, she sent me two, one
with each order.  I offered to pay her for the
second, but she declined and said I
should just give it away!

Here's my card:

I love making shaker cards and just couldn't
resist making another one.  Can you find
the My Creative Time products used?

Here's another My Creative Time product
on the inside.  Think you know?

Okay, here's what I'm giving away!

Here's a quick video:

Just leave me a comment below and see
if you can name the TWO MCT products I used!

Be sure and leave me a way to contact the winner.
I will use to pick a winner on
Friday, January 31, 2014!
Good Luck

Twine it Up January Challenge

Burrrr!  It's pretty chilly here in
Indiana.  I need to get my move on but just
had to make a quick project for the Twine
It Up January Challenge.

Follow this link to see what is going on:

Here is the challenge:
Let It Snow!

Project must be a tag.
Include a snowman,
and some Trendy Twine
**If you do not have Trendy Twine, use hemp, jute,
embroidery thread, or yarn only
(no other brands of bakers twine)**

I have ALL colors of Trendy Twine as I buy all
my twine from them, but what I really wanted was
the white twine for this tag.
Since I didn't have it, I used some hemp
to tie around my bow.

They have two brand new blue colored twine
that also would have been perfect on
this card.

I love making tags because whoever you give them
to can use them as a bookmark in their
favorite reading or even in a cookbook.
Each time they open that book and see
the tag, they will think of you!

Over on Crafting with Katie's blog
you see her using Hero Arts Shadow Ink and
they were on sale online at Joann's so I got
in several colors.  Isn't this Charcoal gorgeous
on this tag?  Love the soft look!

Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to
head over to Trendy Twine and join the challenge
and if you haven't tried out their great twine, do
some shopping.  You will be hooked!

Snow Day Activities!

I live in Indiana and we have had
FRIGID temps and tons of snow!  We do
live in the snow belt but it seems that the last
few years we haven't had as much as we used to get.
Well Mother nature made up for it
the past couple of days!
We have 12 inches on the ground and the
temps are hovering around 15 below 0!

For safety reasons, my medical clinic was
closed today and will remain closed tomorrow
except of the urgent care.  My Nurse Practitioner
and myself called all of our scheduled patients
the last two days to share the office was closed,
but in between calls, I just had to craft!

Here are two calendars I made using my
Cameo Silhouette.

The calendar base
is 6.25 by 3, however you need to add the tab so
it will be a little bigger than 3 inches.  Adjust
your size to suit your needs.  I also used a cut
from the silhouette store to make the numbers
on the front.  The calendar is a print and cut
from the store as well.  I used stamps & dies
from My Creative Time to finish off both
calendars.  For a closer look, here are the links
to my videos.

I hope you enjoy looking at the videos!  I had
so much fun making these!  Stay tuned
for my Winter Mini Album!

Thank you for visiting my blog!

Happy Crafting.
