I hope you like it!  I'm excited that it turned out
this cute!  I'll be sending it off to my

Add a little "sparkle" to any project!

If you are looking for the Color Pop Challenge,
scroll down.

Sequins, sequins, sequins!
I've been seeing these little guys everywhere
so I had to get some on order and see for myself
what all the excitement was about.

This is the card I created while doing my video
below.  I used Cardztv Fall Fun stamp set
for the sentiment, a print and cut file from
the Silhouette store, so stickler and SEQUINS.

Take a peak at my video!

Thanks for stopping by for some crafting fun!

Cardztv Color Pop Challenge!

I'm so excited to have you visit my blog today.
I got a face lift this week - trust me I needed it too.
Now if I could only get one in real life, but I guess getting
the "lift" for my blog will have to do!

When I began to type up my blog post,
I thought how fitting the title of
"color pop" is when that's exactly what happened
to my blog!  Anyway, I hope you like my new look.
I'd be thrilled if you grab my blinkie and share my site
on your blog!  I love followers and don't forget to
 invite me to your
blog!  I love taking a road trips!

Our challenge this week starts on
August 23, 2013 and will run for 2 weeks.

Your challenge is to create a card, layout
or other craft project using black and white and a POP of
yellow for color.

I get all goose bumpy just thinking of all the
creations we are going to see.  Link your project to: and you will
get a chance to win Cardztv stamps!

Here's my card!
I started with a black base and used layers of
white and black to build.
The first layer of white was run through
my Cuttlebug with the Swiss Dots folder.
Then I used my most favorite Martha Stewart
punch to give me a classy border.
I added another layer of white and black
but use a Stampin Up stamp to
create the background paper.

I'm a huge SU fan and I wish I knew what this set was
called but I do think it discontinued, however, SU is
wonderful for having sets like this.  Create your own drama
with just ink!  I love it.
I used another MS punch and punched out
four butterflies and glued two together so I
could get more dimension.  I added some pearls on the
butterfly body as well as some stickles and
then more pearls on the swirls.

My tag was cut with an EK Success tag punch and then
to top of this beauty I used Cardztv stamp set called

What a great, fun set this is to have.

This is one of Mary's newer stamp sets and I just
love it!  If you like quality, clear stamps, your search is OVER!

Now it's your turn for the challenge!
Head back to to  add your
creation to the list.  I can't wait to see it!

Thanks for stopping by!

Black and White Designer Challenge - My Creative Time

Who doesn't love Black and White cards?
I have two paper packs and all they have in them
are black and white papers - love them!

I've done this style before, but when I saw the
Designer Challenge at MCT, I had to join in the fun.

Easy, simple, yet elegant!

In honor of my teacher friends!

I created this card a little over a year ago in
honor of my daughter, Carrie and my BFF who
are educators.  I fell in love with this set of stamps
from My Creative Time and had to use them.

Check out
for some amazing products!

I have a new facelift!

I hope you love my blog as much as I do!

Snag my blinkie - I feel so official!

Winner, Winner - Chicken Dinner!

I have no idea what that means, but I've
always wanted to say it!  LOL!
I spent 3 days at the county fair last week watching
my grandkids show their animals.  They have beef, sheep and pigs.

They did outstanding and won so many trophies and ribbons,
we have all lost count.

How's this for a couple of winners!
Grand Champion and Reserve Grand Champion Lamb!

Then we had pigs.  Not the best picture of the pig, but it's
great of Drew!  Doesn't he look pleased?  He won Grand Champion Pig.

And then, there's the beef!

Reserve Grand Champion - not the best photo as I
forgot my camera on this day!

The sale took place on Friday and the boys did real good.
We always appreciate the buyers and their support of our youth.
Much hard work goes in to raising, feeding and training these animals.

As each boy won, he walked to the judge and shook his hand -
tears from Mimi!  So proud of these boys and the young men they
are becoming.  My heart is full!

I make a handmade card for all of the buyers.  Today I made 26 of these!

I hope they like them!

Ribbon is cut from the Cricut Recess cartridge.  Both tickets were a
print and cut from the Silhouette Store.  I did change the wording on the top
one.  I also did a print and cut for the "Thank you" inside the ribbon.
The mat was also a Cameo image that I cut with textured white cardstock for a
little depth.  Edges were inked with Tim Holtz Tea Dye distress ink.

Thank you for coming to check out my blog.
Come back later this week as my facelift will almost be
complete!  I can't wait for you to see the NEW ME!

Goto Galz from the Cardztv Design Team are SEEING RED!

It's time for another Cardztv challenge with the
Go To Galz Challenge team. This week our challenge is

Challenge #33 “SEEING RED”
Create a card, layout or craft using red as your main color.
You have until noon EST, Thursday, August 22nd, to post your name
and a link to your creation, using Inlinkz on Cardztv.
Many of you have asked, and no,
you don't have to use Cardz TV Stamps to enter!

Here's my card!
I used Elegant Edges to create my oval frame.  I had seen
a similar idea on Pinterest, so I dug around in my stamps to find the
stem and leaf to stamp for the flower and then used 3 red buttons
and added the bling on top of the button.
The sentiment comes from Cardztv Stamp set called "Sew Much Fun"!
You are going to love this stamp set!  The sentiments are
perfect for those times we add buttons and faux stitching.

Thanks for stopping by!  Pardon my mess here on my blog.
I'm getting ready for a facelift and it's not completed yet.
