Starting to love doing Mini Albums!

I think I've made 4 mini albums!
Not too many but I'm really starting to get the hang
of and love that it's a "project".  I know that may sound
stupid, but back in the day when I would cross stitch, I fell in
love with the process of creating something.  When stitching became
too taxing for my fingers, I took up paper crafting.

Normally I make cards but have been watching and
learning how to create mini albums.  I certainly have enough paper!
I could create tons of them, but today, I just have one.

Today's album is a friendship gift.  I'm hoping my
friend Susan will like adding her own special photos that
bring her joy.

The album comes from the Silhouette store and is designed by
Lori Whitlock.  This truly went together in about three hours
but I did need to leave some time for drying!

Tweet Treats for the office

Finally - I got some time to make
a few treat bags for the office.

Chocolate for Monday!

Can I just say that I LOVE!
I did a little shopping yesterday on their site and picked up this
cute Tweet Medical pack.  Lots of sweet images and all
for $1!  Sweet!

Printing and cutting couldn't be easier with the Cameo!  It took
longer to wrap the nuggets than anything else.  I even made the banner
on my Cameo.

Now I think it's time for a nap before I head into work
tonight for a little bit.

Happy Sunday!

Love in a Jar Cardztv Challenge!

So excited about a new Cardztv Stamp set call
Love in a Jar!

This challenge begins on June 14, 2013.

Make sure and go to
to enter this fun challenge!

What a great set for all of your summer creations!
The little labels are an added bonus as these stamp perfectly
and can then be fussy cut to use on a card or other project.

I can't get enough strawberries right now but I
remember vividly my mother's Strawberry Jam!  It was called
freezer jam and she always made enough that our family ate
jam all year long.  She made enough that she also gave little jars
away during the holiday season.

I used all Stampin Up card stock!  I'm a big fan!
I love the way it cuts and it seems to be the right weight for cards.
I started with a navy base, layered Cherry Cobbler, a layer of Whisper White,
another layer of Cherry Cobbler with a bottom border cut with
the Scallop Scallop border punch.  I layered one more
piece of Whisper White that was embossed with a folder from
Stampin Up, but I'm sorry I don't know the name!

Now comes the fun part!  I used the small jar and stamped
the image on a clear piece of plastic but make sure you use Stazon Ink pad.
Then I used my Copic markers and colored the BACK of the jar and after
it was dry I added red stickles.  I cut the jar lid out of silver card stock and
placed it on the top of the jar for a little more dimension.
I used the label stamp and fussy cut, added "strawberry Jam" and a tag
on the lid with some twine.

The two little strawberries were stamped and "masked" to make
them look like one is behind the other.  I used some Liquid Pearls
on top of the strawberry.

The inside of the card has another layer so a short
note could be added and of course, I had to use one more
sentiment from this great stamp set.

One last look at the front of my project!

Okay, link your project at

Sometimes you just need a little "craft" therapy!

It was long Monday after a short weekend, so I
needed to destress with some crafting tonight.

I used Cardztv Stamp set: Love in a Jar & Fun in the Sun!
Both are great for your summer craft projects.

The first set of cards is a 3.25 square card.  I just love this size!
The flip flops are from the Silhouette store and I filled
in the images with color and prints from my Silhouette.  I used
the print and cut feature - if you have a Silhouette, you simply
will fall in love with this feature.  The white layer is 3x3 and
has some faux stitch marks.  Cute, cute cards!

The next one is made with the Love in a Jar set.  The cherry
is a two piece stamp so you can stamp the cherry in red, and then use
green for the vine!  I love that about stamping.  I'm not sure
if you can see, but I used Glossy Accents to give the look
of real cherries.  I  do not own any Spellbinders or punches
to punch out the 1 inch square and scalloped square, but
I do have something from the Silhouette store and it worked
perfectly.  Love it!  I used another border punch from EK Success
called Scallop Scallop.  The label also comes from Love in a Jar
and I simply fussy cut around and even added a red layer behind.

Since there was one cherry left, I added it on the inside
for a finishing touch.

I love how these cards turned out.  Head over to:
to purchase some of Mary's awesome products!

Come back this Friday for a NEW challenge with the
Cardztv Design Team!

Nighty night!
