Happy Birthday Hubby!

I struggle as many of you when you
need a masculine card, but I went
to Pinterest today and looked at some
inspiration and here's what I came up with!

All papers are Stampin Up.  I love their
cardstock, the weight, the feel and the fact that is
color all the way through.  No white core!!!

I used a new cuttlebug folder in the chevron pattern
but only did the top half.  The pattern paper is
from the Designer Collection of SU called Sweater
Weather.  I pulled out one of my favorite My Creative
Time's dies - the leaf!  She has two leaves and I have
both, but I keep reaching of this one over and over
again.  LOVE IT!

I used Cardztv Stamp set called GOOD TIMES for
the outside and inside of my card.

Jute and buttons finished off my card and

Thanks for stopping by my blog!
I'd be honored to have you snag my blinkie!

Have a great FALL day!

Cardztv Go to Galz Challenge - The Colors of fall!

I love fall so much, I created two cards
and can't decide between them, so I
will post both!

Thanks for joining the Cardztv Go to Galz
Challenge team as we share the
Colors of Fall.

Make a card, layout or project that celebrates fall and
post it on Cardztv blog and YOU
could be a winner of a wonderful set of
Cardztv Stamps.

Challenge Date: September 20 - Noon (EST) on October 4th

On this card I used this wonderful fall set of
stamps from Cardztv called Fall Fun!

Look at all those wonderful sentiments for
your fall craft projects!

I used a newer set call Sew Much Fun on my second
card!  I couldn't wait to use this set.  I used to sew.
Seriously, I used to sew all my clothes
and clothes for my two sons, but that
was light years ago and now I can
hardly thread a needle (LOL), but
it does bring back memories.
I love using faux stitching on many projects
and if you have time to look at
my blog, I'm sure you will find some
other projects with the stitching.

I love these yellow button flowers, don't you?
Papertrey Ink made this set and I thought
it went perfectly with Cardztv Sew Much Fun!

Thanks for visiting my blog!  Grab my blinkie!
I'd be honored to be on your blog.
I love comments and an invite to your site
would be the icing on the cake.

Happy Crafting!

Another completed Mini with Video!

I am in a group on Facebook that
was putting together a mini album
using tutorial from Ginger at
My Sister's scrapper.  Ginger is AWESOME!
Truly, in my book she is the queen of minis!

That's the front cover.  If you'd like to
see the inside, take a look at my
video.  I love comments, so tell me
about what you think!

Happy Crafting.

TSQ Royal Color Challenge for September!

I have been asked to participate in a
great, fun color challenge from The
Scrapbooking Queen!  This is our first color challenge
and we are using YELLOW - GREEN - BROWN!

Fun, fun!  I went to Pinterest to find some
inspiration and I was taken back by how many creations used
different colors with strips of paper that had been "punched".

I love my punches and this one used on my card is my all
time fav of Martha Stewart.  I have the corner for it too
so if you look back on my blog you will see how
gorgeous this cut is for a mat.

This was a fun card as for me it was all
about the colors.  I didn't add any images from my
Cricut or Cameo, just strips of color, a couple of buttons
and small banner with a sentiment.

Thanks for joining us on our first color challenge!

A time to remember.......

If I could have a conversation with each
you, you would be able to tell me exactly where
you were on 9/11.  You would remember the images,
the sadness, the tears, the disbelief, and the compassion.

Today we remember, as we will
never forget the terror of this day.

Before you go to bed, I hope you
will say a prayer, hug your children or spouse
and be grateful for today, while we remember
those who perished on 9/11.

God bless America

Teal we find a Cure & Happy Birthday Amanda

Welcome to Teal We Find A Cure/ Amanda’s Birthday Blog Hop

I am excited to have been asked to help celebrate Amanda's
Birthday and make a card in honor of this cause.

This hop is more about awareness. Awareness for Polycystic Ovary Syndrome ( PCOS).
September just happens to be PCOS awareness month as well as Amanda’s Birthday.
The ribbon color for this just happens to be Teal. So we are hopping along today to celebrate a
birthday as well as bring awareness for PCOS.

Here is some information about Polycystic Ovary Syndrome.

Now on to what I created for this blog hop. The only requirements we had was we had to use teal.

I got to use my newest obsession - SEQUINS!
Neat and Tangles sell really adorable sequins and I used theirs on this card. Check out their website and see
some video tutorials on using sequins. Great fun. I actually created this card on my Cameo since I don't have
Nestability dies. It worked great!

I hope you enjoyed my project and hop you will hop with us. Your Next stop is:

I know you are going to enjoy Nicole's creation - she
is one crafty girl!

Happy Birthday Amanda!

Go To Galz Challenge - Celebrate the Harvest!

The nights are starting to get a "chill"
which means, fall is coming. I LOVE fall! It is
my favorite time of the year as I love the deep rich colors
and the brisk chill to give us a break from the heat of summer.

Thanks for joining the Cardztv Go to Galz
Challenge team as we Celebrate the Harvest.

Make a card, layout or project that celebrates the
summers harvest, post it on Cardztv blog and YOU
could be a winner of a wonderful set of
Cardztv Stamps.

Challenge Date: September 6th - Noon (EST) on September 19th

You are seeing this beautiful shaped card from
the Silhouette store.  I have used it before and I just keep
seeing things I want to create with it.  That green and white
checked background paper just screams FALL apple picking.

I can't wait to cook me up some apples!  I have tons
of apple recipes for fall and will soon pulling them out.

The apple basket is a print and cut from the
Silhouette store and I cut two and glued them together so
it would be more like chipboard.  I used Glossy Accents on the
bands on the basket and some stickles on the green apples.

I added HAPPY HARVEST on a banner.  My
sentiment comes from Cardztv Stamp Set called Thankful
for you.  Look at all the wonderful fall sentiments in this set!

Other little touches like the mini brown buttons, thin brown
hemp and the faux stitching complete my card.

Now it's your turn!

I can't wait to see your project.
Leave a comment and invite me to your blog.

Baby Girl Shaped Card

I think sometimes even with all the "toys" I have
I sometimes forget what all they can do!  I needed a card
to send to my daughter-in-law for her upcoming baby shower.
She is due in 8 weeks and things are starting to come together
but since they live in MN and I live in IN, I will have to plan
my visits.  I wanted to put a pram or a baby buggy on the card
and I had purchased one a while ago from the silhouette store.

I cut the buggy out three times.  One in white, one in brown and
one in the pink dot.  I cut away the parts that I didn't want and glued
all three together.  I added buttons, pearls and lace to add a little
pop.  I then created an offset with my Cameo and welded two of
them together to create the card base.  I wanted to add that I
was going to create just another A2 size card, but then I remembered
I could create the card shape!  I'm very excited
with how it turned out!  I finished off my project
with an A2 envelope that I made with my We R Memory
Keepers Envelope punch board.

Have a great weekend!
