Here's what I made for
today's blog hop using Cardz TV Stamps.

My husband has been painting and removing
wallpaper. It's a big job so I decided to make this
card to say thanks!

My card is an A2 size card. The base is a light green
and the first layer is a deep brown. The third layer
is divided into two different papers.
I ran the bottom piece through one of my Cuttlebug
embossing folders to make it look like wood.
I used Tim Holtz Tea Dye to sponge over the ridges.
Doesn't it look great? My images are cut
from the The Handy Man Cricut cartridge.

Of course my sentiments are from my
Your the Man Cardztv Stamp set.

What's a blog hop without some blog

Mary will be giving 2 sets of Cardz TV Stamps
for her blog candy, so if you’re a follower of Cardz TV,

Cute as a Button Cardztv Challenge!

Ready for some fun?

Join the Cardztv Design Team for our

Cute as a Button Challenge

The challenge begins April 19, 2013
Make a card, layout or craft project using BUTTONS!

Such a fun challenge and I can't wait to see what you create!

Here's my card:

I used my Imagine, my Cameo & my Cuttlebug on this card!
Watch my video below to hear my tips on creating your layering mats.

The first mat is embossed with an Anna Griffin embossing folder.  I love this folder!
I popped up the next layer and this mat was cut with Elegant Edges and my Imagine.
Again, I used the Cuttlebug folder Swiss Dots and then popped up my
image with foam tape.  I used my Cameo for the print and cut file for the flower.
If you own a Cameo, you must learn how to print and cut.
I "glitzed" up the flower by adding a button to the flower middle, stickles on the petals and
the edges are lightly inked with Tim Holtz Tea Dye Distress Ink.  I added 4 more tiny buttons
in each corner for balance.

I added a little green bow on the top of the pot and a teeny tiny tag
with a Cardztv Stamps sentiment.  The stamp set is called Just a Little Encouragement.
This is the perfect set for those times when your sentiment needs to be small because your
images are bigger.  I love this set!

Watch my video here for some layering tips!

Okay!  It's your turn!  I can't wait to see your
creations!  Have a great time creating!

TV Ch# 27 "Mix It Up!"

Welcome to my blog and the next challenge from
CARDZTV!  This one is for all of you artists out there;
you are going to have so much fun.

Make a card, layout or craft project mixing 3 patterned papers
Starts: Fri, April 5
Ends: Thurs, Apr 18 @ Noon EST
Prize: 1 set of Cardz TV Stamps

Here is my project for this challenge:

I've wanted to make a banner card forever and this inspiration
came to me one night when I couldn't sleep!

My card base is white with another white layer on top.  I embossed the top
half with the swiss dots embossing folder.  The three banners are my Mix It Up
portion of the challenge.  They all came from the same paper pad which came out last year.
I used my favorite Martha Stewart Punch to add the blue
strip on top with a piece of white ribbon.  The flower is a die cut of
My Creative Time.  The sentiment on the front is from Cardztv

I finished off the inside by added another couple of layers.
The sentiment on the little tag is from a new set of Cardztv stamps
called, JUST A LITTLE ENCOURAGEMENT.  It's the perfect addition
when you need a small sentiment!  I just love it!
I will write on the blue portion and I think this will finish
off this card beautifully!

Both of these stamp sets are must haves!  If you love making and sending cards,
head over to

Thank you for stopping by my blog!  Leave
me a comment and invite me to your blog!  I love seeing
what everyone creates!

Happy Spring!
