Peachy Keen Guest Design Post #4

It's been great fun spending this
busy, busy time with you all.

Thank you for your kind words
and thanks for visiting my blog!

I have two final projects to share with you all.
If you are like me, you still have some things to
make and give AFTER Christmas.  I mean
seriously one month just isn't enough time to
get it all done.  My projects today are things you
can easily make and give going into the new
year.  Who doesn't like Hot Cocoa??

This image comes from PK-148 Snow Gifts and
it's layers on two cuts from my Silhouette.

Snowman close up!!!!  CUTE!!!!

And - chocolate!

I've used this gift and shared with my husband
who delivers Meals on Wheels.  They all loved it!

Nice little gift, right?

Now my last project --

With January right around the corner, how
about a melting snowman!

Fun card and a favorite of mine.

Again, used another PKS snowman face, three circles
and BAM - a melting snowman!  I cut my circles on
my Cameo, but you can do the same with your cricut
or even punches.   I sized them at:

Don't laugh, but for the arms, I searched my images and
used the FEET from a bird for my snowman's
arms.  I did use foam tape between each circle
to give more dimension.

Here's the inside of the card.

Thank you, thank you!  It's been
so much fun!  Make sure you get your
craft on soon.  Nothing is more relaxing
that cutting up paper, coloring, and using some glue.

Happy New Year!

Peachy Keen Guest Design Post #3

The fun continues!

Here's another PK project.

Who doesn't like tags??

Fun, fun and so quick and easy to make
but it shows the gift recipient that you took
just a little extra time!

You can make tags from your Silhouette, Cricut
or even using corner punches.

By adding your PKS colored images, your
tag looks like a professional.

PKS images are from:
PK-322 Christmas Tag Minis
PK-306A Snow Happy Mini

Sentiment from PK-322

Don't have patterned paper?  No problem.
Use the sentiments from PK-322
and randomly stamp on your paper
in two different colors.  Perfect!

Thanks for stopping by!

Peachy Keen Guest Designer Post #2

Ready for another FUN Peachy
Keen project????
This is the first time I've made the sour cream
containers.  I followed a link from
Split Coast Stampers and here it is:

Okay, I could make these ALL DAY!
They are filled with Hershey Kisses but almost
any treat will work.

The images are stamped from
PK - 332 Christmas Tag Minis
and colored with my Copic Markers.

I also use Bic markers and they work fine too!

Another cute project topped off
with PKS!!

Okay - let's get crafting!
Christmas is just around the corner.

Last minute Christmas ideas!

I made a quick video for those
who may be need a last minute Christmas
gift idea for a co-worker, teacher, mail person, etc.

I used my Cameo but I know some
of you crafty people out there could
design the same thing in the Cricut
craft room or with your Gypsy.

Happy Crafting!

Thanks for stopping by!

Come back Tuesday when I have another
project as a Peachy Keen Guest Designer!

Peachy Keen Guest Design Post #1

I'm so excited to be a Peachy Keen Guest
Designer this month!  I have been in
love with PKS for a long time and last
December I entered one of my favorite PK
projects for consideration and I won the
Top Peach award.

Here was my entry -

I manage a large staff for a medical group and it's
always a challenge to give them something for Christmas.
These microwave pop corn packets were a hit!
I wrapped them with white paper, stamped on a PK
Snowman Face and topped them off with a set of gloves
tied on to look like a hat.  The staff loved them.

So that is how I got here, but now let's see what I've
come up with for this December.

How about taking a Hershey bar and turning it into
a great treat for any teacher, co-worker, postman, bank teller,
paper boy, sanitation driver, etc.

I wrapped all three bars with a paper sized at
5.5 x 5.5.  Use patterned paper and add a simple
tag or create your own snowman like I did on the
bar below.  The hat was made with scraps of paper
and I topped it off with a snowflake sticker and
a sprig of white foliage.  Of course what makes
this project is the PKS snowman face!
I used the Winter Face Assortment.

The next couple were made by using a circle and
a scalloped circle cut with my cameo but if you have
punches, you can do the same thing.  I got to color
these fun seasonal images with my Copic markers.
I love this simple and quick project.

The sentiments and the stamped snowman
come from the same set -
PK-322 Christmas Tag Minis - OH so cute!

The little snowman looking up is
PK-306A Snow Happy Mini

I hope you enjoyed these projects for today!

Thank you for stopping by!  Remember to enjoy this holiday
season by making memories!!!

Happy Crafting!

Black Friday Fun!

Hubby and I were traveling on Black Friday.
We were driving to Minnesota to see our new
granddaughter so I didn't participate in any
Black Friday sales in the store, but I just
had to log on to My Creative Time website
to see what her Black Friday special was and I was
not disappointed.  I have grown to love Emma's
dies as I can utilize so many more scraps and I
don't always have to get one of my machines going.
I use a Cuttlebug to cut out her dies and they work
beautifully.  Well my order came in
yesterday and I just had to make something
immediately.  If you are like me the days are getting
shorter and Christmas and other events seem just around
the corner.  With my new goodies I made this cute little
"list note" and attached a magnet
on the back to hang on the refrigerator.

Every item pictured here was in
Emma's Black Friday special.
The little note in the right hand corner is
attached with a mini clothes pin but I
went one step further and ran it
through the laminator so I can
change the "_______ days until Christmas"
with a dry erase marker!

I'm a list girl, but I like things to look
cute!  I hope you enjoy my little checklist.

Happy crafting!

It's another Cardztv Go To Galz Challenge!

One of my favorite things to do
is to make treats!  I know most of
the time when we think of treats, we think
food, but it also means gift giving and that
is what I've made today.

I manage a medical office with almost 40
employees and searching for something every
year to give is a challenge.  This year I have
been purchasing hand sanitizers all year so I would
have enough to give to my staff.

The challenge is when you "dress" them
up a bit.  Ruthie over at
has some FREE SVG files and this holder
is one of them.  Hop over to Ruthie's blog and
say hi and tell her I sent her!  I've met the
most loving and giving people through crafting
and Ruthie is one of them.  Such a sweet
stay at home mom who loves to craft AND
she's good at it.

Well, here's my treat!

Ruthies files is for the box.

When you need MANY items, you just
can't beat the Print and Cut feature of the
Cameo!  All of these images came from
the Silhouette store and didn't they
turn out cute?

The tag was hand cut and I used one of
my favorite Christmas stamp sets from
Cardztv Stamps - TINY TIDINGS!

Check out my video so you can see HOW
to put this cute treat together.

Okay, now it's your turn!
This challenge starts on
November 28 and runs
for two weeks.  I know you are in the
craft room having fun, so join in on the challenge.

Don't forget to stop over at Ruthies Blog and say hello.

Happy Christmas Crafting!

MCT Designer Challenge

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to make tags!
The challenge over at My Creative Time was to do
just that and boy did I have fun.

I have used ALL of MCT products on this tag
right down to the tag die.

Love this entire tag!  The paper was
white until I used the
JUST FOR YOU stamp set and
made my own background paper.
Don't you love it?

I count 9 MCT products on this tag.
Can you find them?

Happy Crafting!

TSQ Royal Color Challenge

Well the Queen has another great
color challenge for us!

I had to do a little thinking
on this one!

Here's what I came up with.

I LOVE My Creative Time Dies!

The trifold card is made entirely with her dies.
The pumpkin is actually an "egg" die.  Love, love, love it!
The stem is one of the banner dies.
The entire card is also her tri fold card die, but
I turned it on the side and made it sideways.

You can see that I use the card die twice so I
could have a contrasting paper on both ends
I used a mat from my Silhouette for the
center to stamp my sentiment.

My sentiments come from Cardztv Stamp set
"Thankful for you".

Of course I had to finish with a few
sequins!  I love how this turned out and
I hope you do too!  Now it's time for you
to create!

Thanks for stopping by!

Cardztv Go To Galz Challenge - THANKFUL!

WELCOME to the Cardztv
Go To Galz Challenge THANKFUL!

I read something on Facebook the other day
and I had to repost on my timeline.  It said
"stop focusing on how stressed you are,
and remember how blessed you are".

I want to develop that mantra - how about you?
Mary's challenge of thankful fits right in
with my plan.

We just had one of our Thanksgiving last Sunday
and I made the centerpiece you see below.
I also added a video of how you can
recreate this simple candle for not only
Thanksgiving but for ANY holiday or special

I used Cardztv THANKFUL FOR YOU stamp
set and stamped images on tissue paper
and applied to the candle with heat.
Check out the video for tips.

Here's the video:

Here's the finished product on my table before dinner.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

I'm so thankful for you and your
interest in my craft!

Now it's your turn!
You have until noon EST, Thursday, November 14th

Cardztv Go To Galz GHOST AND GOBLIN challenge!

The colors of fall are starting to
dot the landscape.  Looking at homes while
I drive to work, I'm beginning to see pumpkins,
corn stalks and other fall decor displayed
prominently on front porches and let's not
forget the Halloween candy in ALL the stores.

Well I hope you are ready for some fun with the
Go To Galz from Cardztv Stamps.  We are having a

DATES: October 18 - noon on October 31
Create a layout, card or other craft project
for Halloween.

Mary has posted some great projects doing different
card folds and that was the reason I created this one.

Take a 12 inch piece of cardstock and cut at 4 inches.
Then score at 4 & 8 inches and do a mountain/valley fold.

As you can see I just decorated all three panels
to create a SPOOKY scene.  I used my
Martha Stewart punch to get the spooky fence.
I love that fence.

I broke out my Gypsy to cut the tree and the
moon and SCARY letters.  I added some white
gel pen on the wording to make it show up a little
more.  You can see that I sprinkled some sequins
here and there just to add a little zip!

I love how this card turned out!  I used two sets of
Cardztv stamps and I love them both.

Spooky Sayings & Oct 31 are the two sets.
These are great sentiments for ALL your fall creations.

Well I just had to add in one more card.  I love this one!
The witches boots are from the Silhouette store
and the "skirts" are just scraps of paper
with a border punch for the hem.
The sentiment is a NEW one from
Cardztv Stamps called Trick or Treat.

Thanks for stopping by today!  Now it's time
to get YOUR craft on and link to our

TSQ Color Challenge -Orange, Black & Yellow

Are you ready for a fun color challenge!

The Scrapping Book Queen has issued a fun, fun challenge.

Here is my card:

One of my favorite features of my Silhouette is
the print and cut feature.  Could this crow be any cuter!
The step card is also a cut from the Silhouette store,
so head over for both of these cuts and
make up your own All Hallow's Eve card.

The sentiment comes from Cardztv Stamps!

Now let me tell you something about the print
and cut features.  By adding just a little extra
(gel pen, glossy accents, stickles) the affect
is awesome!

Have fun!

I needed a couple of congratulation
cards tonight, so I pulled out My Creative
Time and Cardztv Stamps.
These are my go to stamps almost exclusively
and I love them.

I apologize for the lighting on this photo.
Fall is here and it's getting darker quicker
here in Indiana.  I used My Creative Time
dies for the clouds, "sun" and banner.
"The Sky is the limit" is also from My Creative Time.
I used two sets of Cardztv Stamps:
Up and Away for the kite, and the fabric
tie.  The sentiment "way to go" is from This and That
stamp set.  The background cloud paper
was a print paper (freebie) from the internet but
I can't remember where I got it - sorry!

Anyway I hope you enjoy my step card!

Cardztv Breast Cancer Awareness - Go To Galz Challenge

Welcome to another challenge
with the Go To Galz from Cardztv!

Your challenge is to create a card, project
or layout for Breast Cancer Awareness.

Challenge dates are October 4 - noon October 17th
Link up your creation on www.cardztv.blogspot.com
and you could win a set of Cardztv stamps.

I am becoming obsessed with shaker cards and sequins!
I created this template on my Cameo so now when I want
to create a card, I just go to the file and cut it out.

My sequins came from My Craft Spot & Neat & Tangled.
The pink ribbon is a Silhouette cut and I applied
some stickles on the heart to make it stand out a little more.

I used the REJOICE stamp set for my sentiment.  This
is one of my favorite scriptures and feel that God is in
control of our strength and that with his help, we will
continue to make strides to knock out breast cancer.

This is a great set of stamps.  Sometimes nothing says
what we need to convey like the scripture.  Mary has other
scripture stamps too!

For anyone who want to learn how to make
a shaker card, here is a video.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Happy Birthday Hubby!

I struggle as many of you when you
need a masculine card, but I went
to Pinterest today and looked at some
inspiration and here's what I came up with!

All papers are Stampin Up.  I love their
cardstock, the weight, the feel and the fact that is
color all the way through.  No white core!!!

I used a new cuttlebug folder in the chevron pattern
but only did the top half.  The pattern paper is
from the Designer Collection of SU called Sweater
Weather.  I pulled out one of my favorite My Creative
Time's dies - the leaf!  She has two leaves and I have
both, but I keep reaching of this one over and over
again.  LOVE IT!

I used Cardztv Stamp set called GOOD TIMES for
the outside and inside of my card.

Jute and buttons finished off my card and

Thanks for stopping by my blog!
I'd be honored to have you snag my blinkie!

Have a great FALL day!

Cardztv Go to Galz Challenge - The Colors of fall!

I love fall so much, I created two cards
and can't decide between them, so I
will post both!

Thanks for joining the Cardztv Go to Galz
Challenge team as we share the
Colors of Fall.

Make a card, layout or project that celebrates fall and
post it on Cardztv blog and YOU
could be a winner of a wonderful set of
Cardztv Stamps.

Challenge Date: September 20 - Noon (EST) on October 4th

On this card I used this wonderful fall set of
stamps from Cardztv called Fall Fun!

Look at all those wonderful sentiments for
your fall craft projects!

I used a newer set call Sew Much Fun on my second
card!  I couldn't wait to use this set.  I used to sew.
Seriously, I used to sew all my clothes
and clothes for my two sons, but that
was light years ago and now I can
hardly thread a needle (LOL), but
it does bring back memories.
I love using faux stitching on many projects
and if you have time to look at
my blog, I'm sure you will find some
other projects with the stitching.

I love these yellow button flowers, don't you?
Papertrey Ink made this set and I thought
it went perfectly with Cardztv Sew Much Fun!

Thanks for visiting my blog!  Grab my blinkie!
I'd be honored to be on your blog.
I love comments and an invite to your site
would be the icing on the cake.

Happy Crafting!

Another completed Mini with Video!

I am in a group on Facebook that
was putting together a mini album
using tutorial from Ginger at
My Sister's scrapper.  Ginger is AWESOME!
Truly, in my book she is the queen of minis!

That's the front cover.  If you'd like to
see the inside, take a look at my
video.  I love comments, so tell me
about what you think!

Happy Crafting.

TSQ Royal Color Challenge for September!

I have been asked to participate in a
great, fun color challenge from The
Scrapbooking Queen!  This is our first color challenge
and we are using YELLOW - GREEN - BROWN!

Fun, fun!  I went to Pinterest to find some
inspiration and I was taken back by how many creations used
different colors with strips of paper that had been "punched".

I love my punches and this one used on my card is my all
time fav of Martha Stewart.  I have the corner for it too
so if you look back on my blog you will see how
gorgeous this cut is for a mat.

This was a fun card as for me it was all
about the colors.  I didn't add any images from my
Cricut or Cameo, just strips of color, a couple of buttons
and small banner with a sentiment.

Thanks for joining us on our first color challenge!

A time to remember.......

If I could have a conversation with each
you, you would be able to tell me exactly where
you were on 9/11.  You would remember the images,
the sadness, the tears, the disbelief, and the compassion.

Today we remember, as we will
never forget the terror of this day.

Before you go to bed, I hope you
will say a prayer, hug your children or spouse
and be grateful for today, while we remember
those who perished on 9/11.

God bless America
