My hubby is TOAD ally Awesome!

We've had a little stress lately in my family.
I don't handle it the best and I'm afraid my
sweet hubby takes the brunt of my long days
and frustration for not being able to change things.
This weekend, I spent a good deal of time in my craft loft,
burning off a little stress.  I thought
it was only fitting for me to make a card
just for him.
Here's the outside of my S-fold card.  Gosh I love these colors!
The frog is a SVG cut.  I used some Peachy Keen eyes
and did a bit of stitching with my white gel pen.

The inside of the card is stamped with a
Cardztv Stamp Set called TOAD ally Awesome!
What a cute set!  Check out all of Mary's stamps
I hope you have a great week!  I'm going
to have a great one - I can feel it!

It's all about the treats!

I've been working on Halloween treats this
weekend.  I love making goodie bags, treats,
little gifts -- I'm not sure why but I love to
make them.
Here's my first one -
Halloween pencils!  Aren't these cute?
I used My Creative Time dies and stamp sets to create
these.  You could also use Pixie Sticks but I couldn't
find any so I used pencils.
Next -

This little bat wrap is from the CTMH Artiste
cartridge.  It is cut out of black with the edges
inked with white.  I adhered a piece of candy
on the inside, glued a couple of googly eyes,
wrapped twine around the wrapper and tied in a
bow.  I used a die from My Creative Time and stamped
it with a couple of sayings I got from stamps
in the Dollar Bin at Michaels.
And my last treat.....
I found these plastic bags on Ebay.  I filled
them with M&M's but you could also dip chocolate
pretzel rods in them too.
Again, I used My Creative Time's dies
and stamp sets to finish this project.
Well now it's your turn!
Make some treats for Halloween!

Here's my FALL-o-ween project I made
featuring the brand new stamp set,
"FALL FUN" by Cardz TV Stamps:

These boxes are from the Close to my Heart Ariste cartridge.
It's like a matchbox.  I am in love with this
box!  It is so simple to cut out.  I covered the entire
box with Halloween patterned paper and then added
some fun on the fronts.
The Awesome Autumn sentiment and pumpkin comes
from Cardztv Stamp set Fall Fun.  I added the fence from a
Martha Stewart punch.  I think this may be my fav
MS punch!

The Witch's Brew box is also from Cardztv Stamp
set "Oct 31st".  This is another great set from
Mary!  Oh, my you are going to love these stamps.
The image on the front of this box is
a SVG cut.  I have a Cricut Expression
and can use Sure Cuts A Lot to cut SVG
files and I do love them.  Each week I get
a free cut from Scrapping Bug Designs and
Treasure Box Designs.

I added a stamped image from Jaded Blossom
stamps on top of the peanut butter cups.  These
are actually made for Hershey Kisses, but there are
so many things you can do with them.

Jaded Blossom "Treat" challenge!

I love making treat packages!  It's one of my
favorite things to do!
When I read the challenge for Jaded Blossom, I knew I had to enter.

This box came from the Close to my Heart's Artiste
cartridge.  I call it a matchbox.  It goes together so simply!
Then I had to put in some goodies!
I chose peanut butter cups and attached a black
scalloped circle cut at 1 inch on my Cricut.  I added
Jaded Blossom's Halloween Kisses stamped
images.  I used a 3/4 inch punch to cut them out
and layered them on top of the candy!
I covered the box with a strip of colored paper.  I added
a free SVG cut from Treasure Box.  This was a
fun project and I hope it helps to inspire you to
join the Jaded Blossom challenge.
Thanks for stopping by my blog.

Paper Playtime Challenge - Welcome to BOOville!

I'm entering this card into Paper Playtime's Challenge -
Welcome to Boo-ville!
The "witch's brew" cut was a FREE SVG file from
Treasure Box Designs.  I had such a hard time
cutting out the "colored" parts of the socks, I ended
up just using my BIC markers and colored in the stripes.
I also used a gold gel pen on the shoes to draw the
buckle.  On the inside of this S fold card, the fence
is from a Martha Stewart fence.  I used two sets of
Cardztv Stamps (Oct 31st & Spooky Sayings).  The mats are
created with Elegant Edges and the dry
embossing was done with a Stampin Up
embossing folder.
I hope you like my card!
How about joining in on the challenge!

More cards!

I had to reset my Gypsy about a month ago and when
that happened I lost all of my files.  I was most
sick about the one card I had created with my Gypsy
that used a cut out spot for a Hershey Hug.
I was delighted to find that Scrapping Bug Designs
had a SVG cut in the same style that I had originally
designed on my Gypsy.

As you can see, I went a little nuts!
I love this card!  If you can cut SVG cuts
you truly must get this one.
Thanks for stopping by and looking at my projects!

Cardztv Cricut Challenge - Anything Goes!

I've had a great day away from my normal
workplace!  I slept until 9am, unpacked my new
Dyson carpet sweeper, had my coffee and toast and
went to my craft loft to play!  It was great.
I wanted to join in on the Cardztv Cricut Challenge and
I made this card just for fun.  I used my Cricut to cut
out this SVG file from Scraping Bug Designs
called Sweet Smell of Fall.
Isn't this skunk the cutest?
The sentiment is from "Fall Fun" a set
of Cardztv Stamps!
I added some Crystal Effects to they eyes
and nose to make them stand out.  I added
some doodles with my gel pen and inked the edges
of the pumpkins to add definition.
I cannot believe it's getting so close to November!
Where has the time gone?
Happy Fall everyone and thanks for
stopping by my blog to check out my card!

Cardztv Buttons and Boos! Challenge!

Today is the beginning of a brand new challenge for

"Buttons & Boo's!"

Starts: Friday, Oct. 5th@ 12:00 am EST
Ends: Thurs, Oct. 11th @ Noon EST
Details: Create a card, layout or craft project for Halloween using Buttons
Prize: 1 set of Cardz TV Stamps of the winner's choice
Winner (chosen by Announced: Friday, Oct. 12th @ Cardz TV

So excited to show you what I made for this challenge!

The inside of the card looks like this!

Now let me share that this card was made with a circle punch - no die cuts.
I stamped 4 -1 inch circles.  I put the first circle down with adhesive and then
drew the legs on the spider.  I added a pop dot and placed the second dot on top of the first so it added some dimension.  The black string used is a little thicker than normal
twine - I found it at Walmart.  If you look closely at the spider, you will see two black buttons for the "head" and then I added two googly eyes.
I love buttons, so I just had to add a couple more on the front of the card for balance.
I used some black stickles on the "feet" to make them stand out a little better.
The sentiment on the front of the card is
Cardztv Spooky Sayings
The inside sentiment is from Mary's new Halloween set, Oct 31st
Look at all the great stamps here!
Mary's stamps are such a great VALUE and easily to clean!
I can't wait to see what you come up for this challenge!
Thanks for playing along with the Cardztv Design Team!
