Sympathy card

Found out I needed a sympathy card tonight, so this is a quick one (actually I thought I had one in my stash, but did not).  The entire card is stamped, watercolored and chalked.  I used the Cuttlebug for the dry embossing layer and two of the ribbons in my monthly pack from Really Reasonable ribbon.  I added stickles and Cystal Effects for the wet look on the petals.  I finished with a spritz of glimmer all over the top layer.  Hope you like!

Soup's On!!!

Yesterday was a great day! Me and my 12 closest pre and post menopausal friends when to see MENOPAUSE THE MUSICAL.  It was a super day and it started with lunch at my BFF's home.  Her hubby makes awesome soup and our choices were chicken noodle (even home-made noodles!!) and chili.  I made this thank you card to send him to thank him for his hard work.  I used From the Kitchen cartridge for both the bowl of soup and the words SOUP.  I had some ribbon and patterned paper from my stash.  I used a border punch on the bottom of the pattern paper.  Dimensionals were used to pop up the bowl of soup and My Pink Stamper sentiment "thank you".  Fun card!

Now for my review of the musical!  OMG!  What a hilarious portrayal of menopause and the life of a woman.  You MUST see this and it would be best with your best gal pals!  I have not laughed that hard in a long time.  No eye makeup left as we walked away but a wonderful warm feeling and glad to be a woman!

Now see another project I did this week.  I manage a physician's office with three physicians and about 15 staff.  We have a bulletin board up in the office so co-workers can recognize their fellow workers by going "above and beyond".  They sign little cards and I put them up under each team members name.  We had almost 2 feet of snow a couple of weeks ago and when we came out to leave the office, the one physician had cleaned off all our cars.  One of the employees wrote an Above and Beyond card for him and I decided to do another bulletin board for our doctors enttitled "Our Docs Rock!"  It came out cute and I wanted to share this with you as well.

This was made with everyday paper dolls and was really fun!

Cricut Sisters Monday Challenge

I ran across this blog hop while participating in My Pink Stamper's blog hop!  This is fun!

I made this card using Create a Critter cartridge and used My Pink Stamper's stamp.  I have a new grandson, so this card was an easy one to put together.  I just had to think about how "stinkin cute" he is!

Stay a while and join in the fun!  I'd love to have you become a follower and leave a comment and invite me to your blog.  I have a busy work week so I don't do much "hopping" unless it's the weekend.

My Pink Stamper Blog Hop

This was a fun and EASY card for the blog hop!  When the challenge was something with a favorite color & black and I knew it was yellow!  This winter it seems that we have not seen near enough of the sun in Indiana and we have been blessed by some this week.  It has been a joy to "have to wear my shades" to and from work.  The image comes from Charmed cartridge, I used the Cuttlebug to emboss the dots, Stickles on the glasses and sun, and Robyn's More Punnylicious stamps.  The clear photopolymer stamps are really great for stamping on your raised images.  This is much more difficult to do with a red rubber stamp.  I always test on a scrap first to see how much pressure I need to use, but it really doesn't take much.

Enjoy my site.  Join in on the fun and follow the HOP!  I'd love for you to become a follower and invite me to your site too!
