My Creative Time Day 3 Sneaky Peeks - 127th Edition

Day 3!!! How can that be?  We are just getting started!

Make sure and follow along on ALL the Blogs this Friday for MORE inspiration of the new products!  My Design Team Sisters are amazing!!!

Okay, enough of my commercial!  An updated Snowflake Tag die is what we are showcasing today!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this design.

The holiday season always finds me looking for something to write on for lists, To Do's, gift ideas, new recipes to try, etc.  So I used the new tag to make myself a notebook all covered with the Let it Snow paper and decorated with our new die.  These little note pads came from the Dollar Tree and are 3.5 x 5 but any size will work.  Just measure your pad of paper and add your cover.
The Sentiment is from the new Warm & Fuzzy Hugs from Day one.

I created a pocket on the inside to hold receipts or other notes.
It's so nice to have all Christmas related items in one location each year!

This is also a cute gift to give to others who are planners and want something pretty to use for the holiday season.  Every time they use it, they will think of your generosity and creativity.  Not a bad legacy right?

My Creative Time Day 2 Sneaky Peeks 127th Edition

What is it about holiday crafting that makes get out ALL the glitter???

Anyone else like me???

Today I created a card using just one of the NEW items for today.

There are so many things to make with this new die, but of course I had to break out the sequins and shiny paper and make a shaker card!  The new Let it Snow paper pad is perfect for layering and showcasing all the papers.  They just work together so well!

The base to my shaker is a circle from the Pretty Scallop Circle Dies.
These dies are a staple on my craft table and rarely get put away!  LOVE THEM!
That delicate scallop design is a real show stopper.

My second card is featuring our new Cloud/Snowflake Stencil.  I LOVE using stencils as you can create any color you want and blend with just the right amount of ink.

Of course I had to use some sparkle in the center of the snowflakes and then
finished it off with a pop of black for the sentiment from yesterday's sneaks!

My Creative Time - 127th Release Sneaky Peek Day 1!

We have an incredible week lined up for you!

If you enjoy it 1/2 as much as we did playing with this new release, you are in for a wonderful inspiring week!  Okay - let's get to it.

Day one features a new Let it Snow paper pad and a new stamp and die set.

Emma is also introducing the Snowball Frame Dies & Layers and Cloud dies.

I wanted to create a shaped card so I could use those adorable Snowball Frame Dies.
In preparation for the upcoming holidays, I had some panels cut and embossed with a snowflake motif, so I used a panel to cut out my Snowball.  I added that first layer onto the 4" Circle Card Die.
To add some interest, Distress Ink was lightly applied over the embossed layer.
Then I cut the ADORABLE snowmen from the paper pad, stamped and cut out an image from the stamp set and popped it all up with foam tape.
The 4inch envelope was made with the 4x4 Envelope Die.

What a cute little card to add to any gift or add in a gift card for that special neighbor!

Loving today's products and I know you will also!
Thanks for stopping by!

My Creative Time - I need a FAVOR Turkey Time!

I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around the fact it is November.

I live in Indiana and when I was a child, November meant cold, windy and busy days on the farm.  My mother was preparing for Thanksgiving way ahead of time by baking holiday treats and planning her menu.  I loved it!  It was during those busy times I began my love of cooking and keeping a home.

Holiday preparations were always special.  Even though our extended family was HUGE, we would all sit down to eat our Thanksgiving meal.  We may be a separate tables, but would be sitting at a table.  Our dishes didn't match but Mom always made sure to have a "table favor" by each plate.

Today I bring you Mr. Turkey!

Normally you would use him as a "turkey pop", but for me he will hold a little piece of heaven also known as a Ferrero Rocher piece of chocolate.  I find this three pack at my Dollar Tree and it's great for making treats!  I usually keep a few in my freezer for when I need to make a little treat.

Here is the side view of showing the chocolate all tucked inside my turkey.

Since I plan to put this on the dinner plate, I felt it needed a base so I reached for my

Pretty Scallop Circle and Layer dies to create the base and stamped the sentiment from

Teeny Tag Holidays in brown ink.  I love how this came out!

Here is the link to the Turkey Pop Die but be careful!  If you are like me and repackage your

stamps & die sets, make sure you don't toss the nose & eyes!  I had to improvise since I

couldn't locate them in my packaging.

Fall crafts are coming to a close for me as I begin creating for Christmas!

I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving with family and friends!

I'm so thankful that we can be together again!

My Creative Time Make it Manly!

I'm so excited to show you my manly card for today!

I think fall is the easiest time to create masculine projects because of the color theme and we can be "outdoorsy" by using leaves!

My Creative Time dies to the rescue!

If you don't already have this set, get it!  You can do so many things with leaves
on your projects.  When I'm creating fall designs I always use my scraps along with these leaf dies and have the perfect embellishments for everything!

Add that and Lots of Greetings and a Square Tag Die and your project is done!

Happy Fall Y'all!
