September Ninth Guest Designer!

Scroll down for Cardztv Challenge!

Through the miracle of the internet I have met some wonderful
crafters.  Most of these people I would never have known but because of Facebook
and blogging I've had the pleasure of meeting an outstanding
crafter, Ruthie!  Her blog is
and if you've never been there before, you simply must settle in for a treat.

I told her one time she could glue STONES together and I would
be impressed.  She serves on countless Design Teams, using
rubber stamps, her Cricut & her Cameo to create AWESOME
projects!  I urge you to follow her blog and allow yourself
to get blown away!  I am deeply honored to be her guest
designer for the day using one of her Cameo files to create this
springtime card.

The Hello Kitty bunny is made by Ruthie!  I love it!
I used stamps and the cloud dies from My Creative Time.
I wanted to create a bit of a 3-D effect so the mat on the front of the card
is from a 6x6 paper pad.  The bunny is on two thicknesses of foam tape.
Stickles and Glossy Accents were added to the eggs in the basket and
the bow on top of the bunny's head.  A little pink chalk was added
to the cheek area for a pop of color.  I finished off the inside
with another mat and sentiment.

Happy spring to you all & thank you Ruthie!

I love your creativity and your ability to share!

Cardztv Luck of the Irish Challenge~

Welcome to

Cardz TV Ch# 25 "Luck of the Irish"
Make a card, layout or craft project using stamped,
digital, or electronically cut Shamrocks or Leprechauns.

Our fearless leader Mary has a fun
and exciting challenge for you today!
With St. Patricks Day right around the corner
you can get a jump on your crafts!

Starts: Fri, Feb 22
Ends: Thurs, Mar 7 @ Noon EST
Prize: 1 set of Cardz TV Stamps

Here is my project for this challenge:

The "pot" and Shamrock are cuts from the
Silhouette store.  The second view shows you that this is
an actual box-like container so you can dress up your
desk at work while offering a sweet treat to your co-workers.

I wrapped the Hershey Nuggets with patterned paper
sized at 1x3.  You don't have to do the little
kiss messages, but I do love them!

I used buttons and some gold cording from my stash and
finished off my project with a sentiment from
Cardztv Stamps called "Happy Days".

This is one of my favorite stamp sets as I always
have a sentiment for ANY occasion!  Check out
to see the awesome stamps Mary has made!

Now it's your turn t0

Cardztv Challenge - Kidz Kardz!

Cardz TV Ch# 24 "Kidz Kardz"
Make a set of 3 - 3x3 Valentines for kids
Starts: Fri, Feb 8
Ends: Thurs, Feb 21 @ Noon EST
Prize: 1 set of Cardz TV Stamps

I love Mary's challenges and this one was especially fun!
When I was thinking what I wanted to create, I thought back to the
simple little Valentine's cards we used to give when I was a kid.

So because of that I created my three cards with a
shape for the background instead of an actual card.
I used a layered die to make the background and then
placed my images
on the front.  If you don't have any layering dies,
you could easily use any cartridge that has shapes and shadows.
A really good one is Elegant Edges.

I then used an adhesive to glue the Valentine to
the box of candy hearts.

The sentiment for this card comes from Cardztv Stamps

This sentiment is from BARKS AND BONES.

The two sentiments for this card are from

Mary's sentiments are so versatile that you can make
wonderful creations by just mixing a matching the sets.

Come play with us!  The more paper and glue, the happier we all are!
