Cardztv 3D Design Team Challenge - Thanksgiving Place cards!

I love that Mary, the master mind behind
CARDZTV STAMPS asked me to be on her
3D design team.  I love making cards, but I
also have a passion for extending my paper crafting into
other outlets.  This challenge is perfect!  Are you ready?

Join us on October 31, 2014 for this fun and
exciting challenge.  Since today is Halloween, right
around the corner is Thanksgiving and some of
us are already planning our menus.  Thanksgiving
is a day to give thanks for each other, good food and the many
blessings of life.  Sometimes our families need some
direction at the tables, so Mary has
asked that we create Thanksgiving place cards.
You know I think I remember making these when I
was a kid with construction paper!
Well, today I used my Silhouette and got
this cute pilgrim hat that holds a sucker!

The banner is part of the cut too and instead of a
name, I added Thanksgiving greeting using
Cardztv Stamps!  I used THANKFUL FOR YOU &
COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS  stamps sets.

Love how this turned out and talk about
easy peasy!!!  Wow!  I plan to cut a few more of these
out for our Thanksgiving and let the grands assemble.
They love to craft!

Okay are you ready to join the challenge?
You have until November 13th to enter
the challenge over on Cardztv blog.

One lucky winner will get their choice of a
set of Cardztv stamps!  I can't wait to see what you
create!  Leave me a message and join via
Bloglovin if you like what you see!  Lots more
creative things coming your way for the holidays!

Thanks for stopping by!

Cardztv Fun Folds Challenge

Thank you for joining in on the fun with
the Cardztv 3D Design team.

Mary has challenged us to come up with
some special folds for a card, a card box
z fold, or whatever you can dream up using
a Cardztv Halloween Stamp set.

I'm in LOVE with this box card
from the Silhouette Store!

I made it for my granddaughter Sloane and
I cannot wait to send it to MN for her 2nd Halloween.

If you look closely you will see rooftops have
some dimension.  I used my Versamark ink pad and
embossed them with clear powder and I swear
they look like copper!  LOVE THEM!

My sentiment comes from Cardztv
Spooky Sayings!

Isn't it perfect????

Okay you have from October 17 to
October 30 to link up your creation
on www.cardztv.blogspot.com

I can't wait to see what you create.
Thanks for stopping by!

Why yes! I can drive a stick!

I saw this curvy witch in the Silhouette
store and I immediately fell in love with her.

I created the sentiment with my Silhouette and
cut them out.  I'm thinking about making some
more with this image as my mind is whirling!

FYI - I glued 3 images together so it would be
more like chipboard.  I then embossed with black powder
for the gloss!

As I organized my cards today, guess what
holiday had the most???  Oh yeah!
Halloween - some of my friends are going
to get some cute cards this year.

Thanks for stopping by!

Cardztv Halloween 3D Challenge!

Fall starts my most favorite time of the year
and one that means I will get to craft a little
more than in the summer.
Welcome to my blog today where I get to design
a project for you using Cardztv Stamps.

The Silhouette store has the CUTEST 3D projects to make
that holds a candy bar.  OMG!  I am in love!

The little witch is from the store too, but she came in a group
of 3 children.  I ungrouped them and only used her.  Notice though
that she is thick like chipboard?  That's because I glued
four together, then embossed with black powder.

Here's a close up shot of the witch!

The candy bar has a drawer!  How cute is this????

I used Cardztv SPOOKY SAYINGS for this project.
Oh wait - I have more!

Here is a coffin with a candy bar!

Full size candy bar fits inside the "coffin".

Love this!

The sentiment also comes from Cardztv SPOOKY SAYINGS.

Oh wait - one more!!!!

What if you don't have a die cutting machine???

Here is a traditional bag topper that I used to make
over and over again.  You can use stickers or a piece
of chipboard for your image.

This one uses Cardztv OCT 31for the sentiment.

Bag toppers are so easy to make.  I'm always on the lookout
for little bags for candy.  I like to take treats to my office
and these are the perfect size.  Simply cut your topper, fold it over and
staple it to your bag of goodies.  Then cut paper for both the front
and the back to hide the staples.  Add your chipboard, your print and cut
or paper pieced image and your sentiment, and you have
an adorable Halloween treat!

Thanks for stopping by today!  Make sure you comment and leave a message
for Mary over at Cardztv because she is giving away a free
set of stamps.  I am so honored to be one of Mary's designers.
She is the sweetest person in the world.  I found her blog years
ago and soon became a follower of her on Youtube.  WONDERFUL
videos!  If you haven't connected with her yet, do so today!

Happy Fall Y'all!
