Cardztv Father's Day Challenge

Thank you for joining the Cardztv Design Team
as we prepare to whip out inspiration
for Father's Day!

The challenge to create a card, layout or craft project
for Father's Day.  How fun is that?

I used You're the Man Stamp from Cardztv!
I love this set and if you've ever struggled to make a
masculine card, you will see how vital this set is.

Look at ALL the fun sayings!  Such a great set for you to
use on "guy" cards!  I used the larger stash and fussy cut around it.
(Okay I have to let you in on a secret, I never heard "fussy cut" until
one of my Design Team sisters said it.  Now I know!  Take your scissors
and trim away = Fussy cutting)
It is popped up on one thickness of foam tape.
Then I used YOU'RE THE MAN on my small label.

I used HAPPY FATHER'S DAY ON THE INSIDE stamped with white pigment ink.

I love using these Hershey Nuggets so I was pretty
excited when I found this card that I've used over and over again
at Scrapping Bug Designs.  Cut out beautifully on
my Cameo.  I had created a card just like this on my Gypsy, but
I had to reset my Gypsy girl and lost all of my files.  Imagine my
excitement when I found this card shape!  Add a little faux stitching
to set off the card and you are good to go!

I hope you enjoyed my card!

Leave me a comment, follow my blog and invite me to your site!
I can't wait to see your creation!

Now head over to www.cardztv.blogspot.com and leave a link
to your project.  You have until June 13 and then Mary will give away
one set of Cardztv Stamps to a winner drawn by random.org.

Chocolate Treats!

My craft loft is like a chocolate factory as
I love packaging up treats to give!  Today I made a
little trifold holder for one piece of Giradella chocolate.

I made these at Christmas but needed something for company
coming next weekend.  It's always nice to find chocolate on your
pillow, don't you think?

This is easy, peasy.  Cut a patterned paper 3x9 inches.  Score at 3 & six and cut off
the one corner at an angle.  Use score tape or a small bead of liquid
glue to seal the bottom.  Fold, ink, round the corners
 and decorate however you want.

Remember, PRESENTATION IS EVERYTHING!

Your guests will remember this long after it's gone!

This took no time at all!

Happy crafting!

Cardztv You've Got Mail Blog Hop Day 1

We have a great weekend planned for you!
Join the Cardztv Design Team for a fabulous 2-Day Blog Hop!
We are showcasing Cardztv new stamp set
YOU'VE GOT MAIL!
My son and his wife are expecting their first child this fall.
They find out in a couple of weeks if it's a boy or girl.

I'm prepared for both!

This stroller was purchased from the Silhouette store and I paper
pieced it together.  What a fun design.  The base of the card is black.
Then I put two layers on top of the card, embossing the white layer.
The BLUE card was made using a Cuttlebug embossing folder called
Swiss Dots.  The PINK card was embossed with a Stampin Up folder but
I don't have the name.  I did apply stickles to the pink and blue part of the stroller.

I had such a great time!  Join the rest of the Cardztv Design Team this weekend
(May 18 & 19, 2013).  Lots of inspiration here!

Here is the complete Saturday line-up.

K cup Coffee gift box!

This afternoon I wanted to create a gift
for a friend with an upcoming birthday.  No doubt
you've heard of a Keurig coffee maker.  I am in
love with mine.  I have one at home and the office I work in
has one too.  I have a friend whose birthday is coming up soon
so I used my Cameo to cut out a box that holds
4 K-cups.  Here's the link to this file:www.etsy.com/shop/craftinandstampin
It's the perfect gift for your caffeine addicted friends!

I made a tiny gift card to tuck inside.

I found another 2 cup gift pack on Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons site.
I will tackle that one next!

Hope your Sunday has been wonderful!
Craft on!

There's no other like my Mother Cardztv Challenge!

With Mother's Day right around the corner,
Mary at Cardztv has challenged us to come up
with a Mother's Day Card for that special woman
in your life.
Your challenge: create a card, layout or craft
project for Mother's Day.  The challenge begins
on May 3rd, 2013.

I have two cards for you today.
My own mother passed away 26 years ago, so
now I remember my two daughter-in-laws.
Carrie is the mother of Trent and Drew and they
are my crafting buddies.  Ashley is expecting
her first child this fall so this is her first Mother's Day.
The first one is for Carrie.

The second one is for - you guessed it, Ashley!

I made this card with my Cameo, but I've also made one
with my cutter.  Mary at www.cardztv.blogspot.com  has a
wonderful video tutorial on her blog on how to make this tri-shutter card.
Check it out!

I used Cardztv Happy Day Stamp set.  This is a MUST HAVE set for
anyone who makes cards.  You will ALWAYS have a sentiment!

This is a FUN card to make and I can't wait to see my girls response.

Ready for some fun?
Link up your creation on www.cardstv.blogspot.com.
Mary will use Random.org to draw a winner from the entries
and trust me - you want Cardztv Stamps!
