Little Photo Books! Great gift!

I have a QUICK fun project for you all today!
This is a little brag/photo book you make out of one 12x12 piece of card stock!
Take your 12x12 and cut 3-4 inch strips.  Score at 4 & 8 inches.
Accordion fold the paper and join them together by overlapping the last and the first flap on each piece.  I then cut the inserts for each flap and they measure 3 3/4 each. You don't have to do this step but I think
it really adds a finishing touch and will make a nice backdrop for your photos.

I rubber stamped them (gosh this was fun - I don't stamp as much as I used to and it turned out great!)
to add a little color.  I ran a 8x11 piece of colored paper through my printer and used my
computer to type the words "special memories" and "Mimi's brag book".
You can add any words your want and really personalize your book!

I added a couple of pearls in the center of the flowers and used (my fav) black and white ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  I attached the ribbon with an adhesive strip on the front of the book, but then it just wraps around the back so you can tie it on the side.

Seriously, this took no time at all!  Whip out your paper and trimmer and see what you can create!
Invite me to your blog because I'd love to see what you did!

Day two of the Ginger Snap Scraps Summer log Hop

Welcome to our Summer Blog Hop with the Ginger Snap Scraps Design Team!

Welcome to Day two of our All About Summer Blog Hop!

We hope you enjoy all of the great work this Design Team has done and
find some summer inspiration. Happy Summer!  It's my pleasure to be a Guest Design Team Member for this Hop.  It's been tons of fun!

then you are in the right spot!

Well, I have friends who love to change shoes in the summertime, but I like to change my Iphone case!

I found this case at Target and you need to find one with a clear back.
Then I whipped out my favorite 6x6 paper pads and starting cutting.
Seriously I never even knew there were 6x6 pads until I found them in the Ginger Snap Scrap Store!
The patterns are perfectly proportioned for smaller crafts and I had a blast picking out papers,
punches, stamps and banners to add!

Of course I had to use Tea Dye Distress Ink by Tim Holtz to ink around all edges.

I used a couple of my favorite Martha Stewart Punches for the borders.

And added some sentiments from My Creative Time, Getty Cricky & Cardztv Stamps

I love how they turned out, don't you?

Thanks for stopping by!  You are almost done with the hop.
I hope you've had as much fun as we have!
Happy Summer!

Summer Blog Hop with Ginger Snap Scraps Design Team

It's a fruity day!

I am excited to be a Guest Designer today for Ginger Snap Scraps.  I love summer, but summer is a great time to use one of my favorite cartridges in my Cricut.  The Preserves Cartridge offers tons of cute cuts.  I team them up with My Pink Stamper Fruit and Veggies Punnies and it's a great duo!  I still use my Cricut Expression even though I have an E2 also!  Both of these machines are available at Ginger Snap Scraps.  I added some Stickles on each card for more dimension.

I have created two cards today one using an Apple cut and a couple of cherries.

One of my favorite Cuttlebugs embossing folders is Swiss Dots.  It is available at www.gingersnapscraps.com.  You will love this folder.  I probably use it more than any other folder in my collection.  I love to make cards.  All products that are available from Ginger Snap Scraps are in RED.   I think the art of "writing" a note is slowly leaving, but I'm a firm believer we can bring it back!  People love to get a card for any reason and hey, let's put the Post Office back to work!  Join me and send someone a note this week!

Ginger Snap Scraps has the cutest stamps and supplies for all your crafting needs.  Check them out!

Thanks for looking at my project today!

Masculine Birthday Card - my biggest challenge

What's worse than just coming up with a masculine card?  Coming up with one for my boss!  LOL!  I love making cards, but when I need a masculine BD card I truly struggle.  I don't want something cutsy with a lot of cuts, ribbons or buttons, so I turned to my My Creative Time products can came up with the two versions below.  Since I will be having my entre office sign the card, I needed to place "mats" on the inside of the card as well so many people could sign.

This card, I just had to use my punches & buttons!  LOL!

Thanks for taking a peak!
